Our home form is sound but our away form is still not promotion quality.

I believe there are 7 electoral collage voters who have come out as 'faithless electors' so far, though oddly enogh the first 6 were in democrate states saying they would vote for a different republican as a protest vote when they were supposed to be voting for Hillary. Such a bizarre system yet many Americans genuinely seem to think the rest of the world sees their system as some sort of a shining beacon for other countries.

I wasn't expecting us to go undefeated for the whole season under Bruce and losing away to a promotion rival after a 7 game run is probably par for the course for a promotion push. We are still on track for our goals in my opinion.

I think Baker would have been marking the striker, Elphick had lost his man in both goals.

A frustrating game away to a promotion rival. I think Baker instead of Elphick and we would have kept a clean sheet. Oh well, the unbeaten run had to come to an end eventually, it is annoying that it is always the TV game though.

He was not standing on his line, he was on the six yard line. He only took a step and a half forward to get to the header, he wasn't going to run backwards away from it. I think the defender should have been marking goal side.

Gestede has cleared a couple of their set pieces. His main value has been the extra height at the back rather than being a threat up front.

As I said when he was hired, if he earns us promotion we are not going to turn around and sack him for that. He will have earned his chance to take the first season.

I think there are a number of people who are anti globalisation and the homogenisation it brings. I am not sure if that totally explains the anti cultural appropriation thing but it probably feeds into it. I'm with you though, share the best bits of everyone's culture and we will live in the best possible world IMO.

Hilariously he declined the role because he "feels he has no government experience". Presumably he thought he had enough experience to run for president but not actually work for the presidents administration...

The idea of a representative democracy is that we elect people whose full time job it is is to study and debate issues then come to a decision on our behalf. With direct democracy every voter has to be across every issue before making a decision. People don't have time to become as informed on issues as a person whose full time job is to do just that. In addition we have the very unreliable internet to get a lot of our information from. Direct democracy is a bad way to try to run a country.

How do you go from "Lock her up!!" to "We owe her a major debt of gratitude, and I really mean that" in a matter of hours?

Another case in point just now. The guy has spent the last few weeks saying Clinton is the most corrupt candidate in history and that she should be in prison, The first thing he says in his victory speech is that she has put in 30 years of tremendous service for the country and Americans should all owe her a debt of gratitude. The guy doesn't actually believe in anything.

A lot of Trump's polices do not align with traditional Republican policy (in fact he is to the left of Hillary on a number of issues like trade barriers and protectionism). He was also openly at war with the Republican establishment throughout a lot of the campaign. I don't actually know that he will have a free reign from the Republican party.
