It's brilliant that in that Norwich forum they're saying '50 odd pages how sad', neglecting to understand that the reason for that is the difference in size of the fan base and how many people are on this forum... which would also be an indicator that our club may actually be a little 'bigger' despite their constant attempts to ensure themselves that 'villa are tiny, honest guys, they've never* won anything'. Looking at the league table there is only West Brom and Southampton that we could realistically suggest we could be above of having played 6 of the top 7. Are we really struggling as much as some are suggesting? Interestingly Swansea who everyone lauds for their style of play and ability have had difficult but arguably easier fixtures and are sat 3 points below us.

I'd advise anyone to check out the euro2012 match-quality shirts they have in nike stores. Forget the design which i guess is subjective, the material and cut are far better than the other manufacturers with adidas in second. I wasn't too displeased with the macron shirts when the were released and i like the effort they seemed to have put in, but the more i see them the more i dislike them. Check out that Werder Bremen shirt AVFCforever1991 posted, imagine that with claret sleeve detail for an away kit. would be incredible.

I'm starting to get frustrated with the Villa board and the cards close to their chest approach. As a result, the fans don't know anything and start creating these elaborate situations and it damages the relationship. It's like they say 'take our word for it' and it immediately raises suspicion, whether it's correct or not. I agree with the method initially, but after the info leaked i wish we had a bit of transparency, because it looks like a little bit of a circus. Maybe behind the scenes it is still actually very calm and they're just going through their motions, but **** me do i just want 2+2 to equal 4 once in a while.

I think you'll find that everyone has accepted the possibility that it is true, but are just waiting for an official line so the matter can be closed. The fact that a story has come out with no official comment, especially after reports like these already being u-turned during this situation, is more than enough for people to be skeptical without being called children from someone who can't just stop typing and **** off to bed.

When I say 'cooling' - I mean hes my no 2 choice , behind Paul Lambert. Randy seems to want experience judging by his previous appointments - and think therefore if he could get Lambert he would offer him the job - Of course theres a lot 'ifs' before that happened. you seems to be pinning your 'cooling' on a hypothetical situation. what if the same situation comes about with Lambert? except then, the sense that it's all starting to feel very familiar, the premier league experience, the counter attacking football. for me, what villa needs is an absolute shake up.

totally don't agree with those calling for randy to leave as well, not only because there has to be someone to come in, and who would be an improvement, but also because we are seeing signs of mistakes being made but also rectified and learned from. we are also seeing honesty and modesty (even if it is in a 'round-about' way). I agree with Richard on the next step. And also, if the answer is Lambert, who some call MON Mk II, i don't see a huge issue in that. we had some great times under MON, and surely after all this the same mistakes that led to his flaws seriously affecting us can be prevented under Lambert.
