  1. The most recent one I saw of those was yesterday, where "First Choice Holiday" were giving away £500 off a holiday to EVERYONE who liked and shared the post. It was an even better deal than the free first class flights with "British Airway" that went round a few weeks ago.
  2. This has probably been said, but those moronic pictures that go round Facebook, along the lines of 'Girls/Ladzzz most likely to... in 2018'. I know I can ignore them, buy my God what a load of old bollocks they are. Ahhh look Jackie, yer name's on here and that's rate funny cos you drink loads lmfao it's like this is ment for you even though there are like a billion other names on it it's just so YOU! lololol #bantaaaaa
  3. Just dipping my toe into this. I tried it a little bit years ago and made a few quid, although I was mainly focusing on getting cashback rewards (using Quidco) at the time. The difficulty now is I've lost track which bookmakers I signed up with previously - I went through most of the main ones. I have changed banks, addresses etc. since then so I'll see if I can get a few new customer offers using a new email address - just signed up to Coral for their 5 x £5 free bets and used them. Should get around £13 profit on the Champions League matches tomorrow night then I think I'll take it from there. Might look into the Bet365 one tomorrow too. Just don't want to slip up and lose my money!
  4. Thanks chaps. Will try the live chat tomorrow and see where I get!
  5. Posted in the Sky Q thread in Tech Room and Stevo directed me here. I'll copy my original post below. Using the online system it seems the cheapest I can get Sky Q with UHD and Sky Sports is £52pm, which still seems excessive considering it's not including broadband etc. I'm not a returning customer. Anyone got any advice / links on good deals for what I'm after?

    Sky Q

Posted recently on here about the best sources of UHD films and it seems the only option with decent choice would be to get a UHD player and buy/rent 4k blu rays. I'm now thinking about getting Sky Q, though - does it have much UHD content? I like the idea of watching the football in UHD - are many games covered? And in terms of films, are there many options in the Sky Store? Would paying extra for Movies/Cinema be worthwhile? It'd still have to be pretty impressive for me to get it, as I already have Virgin Media and I can't switch broadband really as the speeds here are terrible (I don't have to worry about this with Virgin though, as I get 100 mbps through cable). Annoyingly, it also seems you have to get UHD content through Sky, you have to get the 2tb box (although that's just an additional up front payment) and multi room (additional monthly cost, which seems steep).
  7. I can't actually believe we played the same "let's just throw strikers on and expect an isolated and tiring Grealish to do everything through the middle" tactic again in an attempt to get back into the game. Awful.
  8. Why anyone other than a Man City fan would want to see them win it rather than Buffon finally lift the trophy is beyond me.
  9. Even if we don't get promoted and find ourselves short of a centre back come summer, his role in transforming the mentality of the club in his year here cannot be understated. When he came in we were still in a rut and there was still clear evidence of a losing mentality. Terry has instilled drive, determination and pride back into our side, and I think that will be his legacy even after such a short time here. Also, to get back to where we were before Terry signed, we'd need to sign a centre-back of equivalent ability to Nathan Baker. Although he's not a terrible defender, I don't think that will be too much of an ask. Yet the chance to sign someone of John Terry's calibre does not come along that often. We made the right decision regardless of whether we go up or not.
  10. We would be nowhere near as likely to be competing for promotion if we still had Baker instead of Terry. If we fail to get promoted, bringing in John Terry won't be the cause of that, and without him I don't think there would have been much of a chance of us going for it anyway. Even if we do end up in the Championship next year and struggling for defenders, I won't be disappointed that we went down the route that we did. Plus he offers the whole club so much more than Baker or anyone else could. Obviously the last two games have been incredibly disappointing but generally we've developed much more of a winning mentality and shown a lot more determination this season, and a lot of that is clearly due to our captain's influence.
  11. That second half performance was so, so frustrating. Grealish is absolutely class and is the man we need to take a game by the scruff of the neck. He did all he could, despite Henry's constant fouls. However, to remove all support from around him, and effectively eliminate our options in transition from defence to attack (something that has generally been a great strength this season), and throw strikers on the pitch, was a totally awful decision by Bruce. Generally I support him and this absolutely isn't a 'Bruce out' post, as I wouldn't want that at all, but I'm incredibly annoyed at his decisions today. Awful.
  12. Hoddle was dreadful last night.
  13. Expected goals is based on whether chances should have been converted, in light of statistical analysis of a huge number of opportunities in similar circumstances in the past. So it does apply after the game to give some kind of indication of how lucky a team/player might have been, whether the result would typically be different based on the chances in the game, etc.
  14. Man of the moment: Bjarnason Man of the match: Adomah Man of the decade: Steve Bruce Man of the century: James Chester Best human ever: Jack Grealish
  15. Wasn't too sure about Taylor at the start of this game and he was unconvincing in the early stages, but after that he's been excellent.
  16. Adomah has been absolutely fantastic today, both defensively and on the attack. Fantastic performance and effort.
  17. It is so good to see a team full of passion, commitment and professionalism. We haven't had that in such a long time. These guys really, really want to win and put the work in to get there.
  18. I'm cautious about overstating things here, but I think Jack Grealish might just be the best player in the whole **** world. Ever.
  19. Typical example there of a British commentator bemoaning zonal marking, even though that was a perfect example of zonal marking working well from Wolves.
  20. Also agree the commentary is awful, particularly the co-commentator. Is it Prutton? I despite that man whenever he's on, but can't tell if it's him or not. On another note, although we were getting at them at the end of the half, I can see Wolves finishing in the top half of the Prem next year.
  21. Looking so much better when the first option isn't the long, direct ball forward. They've generally done an excellent job of marshalling Jack but the latter part of that second half showed we were starting to play in a way that helped open up space for him. It might mean we take a few more risks to keep possession, but we're going to lose it anyway if we just keep lumping it up to Grabban (who I think has been good, despite some apparent criticism on here).
