A top classmidfielder would have put me in the first option. As it is, I'm happy with the window. Not sure I'm "very happy" but it's certainly much bettter than average so I've gone for that. -
I have no problem with Heskey playing when he's needed. I don't think he's as bad as is made out. HOWEVER, he should not play ahead of Carew if Carew is fully fit, and if we play 4-5-1 he should be third choice.

The inventor of Subbuteo, Peter Adolph, wanted to originally call his game "the Hobby". However, he wasn't granted a trademark for the name. The Eurasian Hobby is a bird native to Europe and Asia and in latin it's name is "Falco Subbuteo", hence the name, subbuteo.

That's what it's like in Sheffield. When I was there last we walked to this pub that was about a mile away and it was uphill. "Nevermind" we thought. "It'll be downhill on the way back" **** wasn't. Somehow it was uphill again. I blame Yorkshire.

In Sheffield, no matter where you walk, you are always walking up hill. Even if you walk up a hill, if you turn around to walk back down you will somehow be walking uphill again. F A C T

I'd start with 4-5-1 and then go for more attacking if we're struggling to break them down. Hopefully the result last night will be enough to kickstart a bit of form. A win here would set us up really well for the next few games. I'd have taken 6 points from our first 3 fixtures at the start of the season.

four five one NRC was outstanding. Passing was still off but he adds so much to our defence by playing that enforcer role. And I agree with BOF, ref was outstanding. Didn't buckle to Liverpool's moaning. MOTM = Steven Gerrard. What a challenge. -

I can't shake this nagging feeling in my gut that we're going to get something out of this game and surprise us all. I know it's silly, my head is telling my gut that it's mental and we're gonna get battered...but I can't shake it.

How much did he pay in the end? I can't remember. Initially around £80m was talked about, did it end up as nearer £60m? £63m rings a bell for some reason. I think it was inded £63m
