He's had a shit season.. injured for most of it.. and then the new manager didn't rate him despite their fans wanting him in the side.

Yeah I don't think people realise how good he's been playing. Pulis out of all people has got the best out of him. Derby fans were petrified of him a few weeks back. Look at his highlights. We all remember how quick he is.. now he's adding crossing and getting some real assists. My concern is we have a very slow and not very powerful back line to handle him. Hutton is quick but he will get murdered by his trickery. We will need Adomah to play to man mark and assist Hutton in shutting him down. Maybe Mile at DM. Exclusively on that side just to try and foul him out of the game. This is where I am worried with Bruce. In the away leg.. if we sit back to counter.. we will get murdered and leave to much to do at VP. We really need to play like we play at home. Dominate the possession and keep their chances to a minimum and hope we have enough in attack. Derby made us look silly in counter attacks too. Boro is a tough tough match. He has a great attitude on and off the park. He can go far if hes luckier with his injuries. He was looking really good before his injury.

Bikir and Conor should be our first choice CM. Grealish in the attacking role. If we wanted to be a bit more defensive ( no need imo) Whelan/Mile with Bikir and Conor in the attacking role. Grealish out of the side.

Dont get me wrong.. hes been decent... in the Championship. If he plays like this in the Premier League he will be exposed. I dont know how many gears he has to go in his career. To be honest.. a move away from VP is probably his best move to further his career. Bit like Albrighton.

Well that was my point. I doubt Bruce changed the game plans. We put out similar sides and formations. Yet players didn't turn up. The effort fight and passion we had against wolves is gone. .

This. Attacking midfielder with few goals or assists. He looks good on the ball but he needs to affect games more. Hull is a game he should have controlled
