My plan foiled. Just read up on him. One year left on deal. We could tempt them to go lower than that. They'll never get that with one year left. Obviously, huge task to tempt him here.

If Napoli want rid I would guess he'll be less than £28m. Wilson will be after £120k+ a week, I think we'd get Milik on less.

Can't find the post now but Milik was mentioned as Napoli have said he's available. Should be #1 priority ahead of Wilson and Watkins. Will cost less than Watkins and have lower salary than Wilson.

It's not that bad I don't think. It's signing a reliable PL player. One who has performed as well, not a bad player. No excuse for signing bad players.

Because football is about more than who scored how many goals. Wesley is nowhere near as good as Wilson.

Disagree big time. Heaton is absolutely outstanding aside from with the ball at his feet. Give me a keeper than catches and holds every tricky ball into the box over anyone one that makes flashy saves. I like Romero but if Heaton gets fit we can't be paying £60k+ to a guy who isn't going to play. A loan makes so much more sense for this role this summer IMO.

Fraser across four years would cost under £25m. Be disappointing if he goes to Newcastle when we need at least two wingers. Wilson would cost probably exactly the same plus whatever the transfer fee is. I do like him and think he would be a good signing but alarm bells are ringing at the cost and injury history, which I didn't realise was quite this bad.

Anything from McNulty is a direct line a club/agent wants out. He's nothing but a mouthpiece. Could be us, could be Bournemouth, could be his agent letting people know he's available.

I think Wilson is a good player. Knows how to niggle the opposition and score goals. Injuries are a concern though.

Nah because he's English and we're probably paying £5m too much and more than trebling his wages. Hopefully he can do the business like many did in Martin O'Neill squads. Not my money but it's steep. £11-14m for Targett was too much and he's technically better than Cash. If he can keep his confidence high he'll be fine.

Lovely. Overpaying is bad m'kay but if it's a case of getting someone in now or October 10th and the difference is £2m I think it's worth it.

Loaning a keeper makes so much sense to me. No one we can get is better than Heaton. Would be silly to spend £10m+ for a sub.

Need to get cracking. There shouldn't be any excuses this season but bedding in new signings is becoming a legitimate possibility that could cost us points. We've got a chance to make a decent start as well.

Leeds won't be finishing any lower than 15th IMO. They dominate games too much. Unless Bielsa has a wobble and walks that is. Watched some of that Gvardiol and he looks really good to me.

He's really good IMO and that'll be a great pickup for them. They'll sell him for £25m inside two years. Good players on the move for not much money.
