  1. Sorry, how do I hide previous content? Back on topic, great series!
  2. Why are people so hung up over the size of a fee for Bamford or any other player? 5m, 10m or 15m. I don't really care how much we pay for players because it is not my money and I don't mean this in a nasty or flippant kind of way. If it's Tony's money and he's not putting the club at risk then what's the issue? If RDM wants Bamford or any other player then quite frankly the fee doesn't interest me, I'm more interested in whether those players can improve us.
  3. Cheers mate, I did look at Ronaldo too but odds for outright top scorer were stingy, best was 8/1 when I looked and don't think Portugal can win it. May look at the Germany one again in the week.
  4. Thinking more about RDM's time at Albion he would have managed Morrison as well wouldn't he? On a free this summer, I would take him. Good experience and not a bad player ta boot.
  5. Did Mulumbu play under RDM at Albion as well? Always liked the look of Mulumbu during his time at the Albion and wouldn't say no to him as well.
  6. As I'm not really a gambler, can I have some opinion on this bet I have done this morning please. I have put £10 on France to win and Giroud to end up tournament top scorer at 33/1. Stand to get £340 back if they both come off. My brother in law convinced me it was a good bet yesterday and has placed £50 on this to happen. I cannot afford to lose that kind of money though. Whilst in Hills this morning I did also fancy Germany to win and Muller to be top scorer at 18/1. May go back this week and place £10 on that as well? What do people think of these type of double bets? Also, any other comments or tournament tips would be appreciated as makes it more interesting for me.
  7. Agree with this. There is a player in there and think in time he will come good either for us or someone else. What I found the most puzzling is that he didn't really kick on and show his ability under Garde? One or two games maybe but nothing of real note? I like him though and would be happy if RDM sees something in him.
  8. These type of players I said. Young and hungry to learn - plenty out there!
  9. Crystal Palace eyeing up Iorfa and Hause at Wolves. Really hope we look at these type of signings. Young hungry players wanting to learn and improve. C'mon RDM.
  10. Think Liverpool are after a Leicester left back called Chilwell. Perhaps if they fail to land him, then maybe Amavi is a back up option?
  11. I'm not ITK one bit, but if it helps reassure people my Liverpool friend is adamant that they are after a young Leicester left back called Chilwell. He thinks Amavi would only be considered, along with others, if they fail to land him.
  12. Crikey, no thanks. Far, far better players out there who we can either buy or take on loan.
  13. My sources tell me he is along with Defoe and Kiyotake. How about all three then?
  14. I agree with you re Barry and think not only would he be good on a match day, but also day to day in training. A true professional in every sense. However, I do wonder if he has one eye on the all time Premiership appearance record? He is not that far away now and one more season in the Premiership will do it. As a fan of his, I wouldn't begrudge him this and hope he does achieve it.
  15. I'm actually looking forward to this appointment now and really pleased about Clarke joining with RDM. Respected coach, will take the lead with training and some proper influence to RDM on a match day. Hope they can talk to Chelsea over the weekend and get one or two newbies in either on loan or permanent.
  16. I suggested Hector last week, along with people like Bamford, Loftus-Cheek, Clarke-Salter, Kenedy, Atsu, Traore. Any of these would be a useful addition on loan for a season. Not sure how many players you can loan from any one club though? You would also think that RDM and Clarke would have connections and influence at Chelsea still?
  17. This completely. In by the end of the week, back room team in by Monday, ship out some of the dead wood next week and some new arrivals the week after. Ready for pre season. Simples! Not that easy I know but let's be optimistic rather than pessimistic.
  18. Agree with the idea of some experience, but having the right quality and attitude as well. Not sure how realistic: Barry, Carrick? If not, what about: Osman, Morrison, Jedinak, Delaney, Walters? Stan Petrov
  19. Not so sure we will really see Stan in a competative again game for us, but would love to have him around the first team squad for sure. A true leader and an inspiration to others. Good on him though for caring about his health and the club.
  20. Couldn't have put it better myself, so I won't.
  21. Problem is our current squad is filled with championship quality players! I agree that gems overseas can be found with good scouting etc, but to get out of the championship I would rather put my faith in 4/5/6 of the names I suggested on the previous page. Sometimes the risks of getting players from abroad and hoping they hit the ground running just aren't worth it. Last season being an example.
  22. Speaking hypothetically, I would rather see Patrick Bamford coming off our bench during a game next season than say Callum Robinson.
  23. Would agree with you DDID, but with an injection of money and a complete overall, we may at least be competitive again. I just hope RDM doesn't wish to assess the squad during pre season first and he has already done some homework. Big job, but not impossible. RDM's first 2/3 signings will be the most interesting I think and will show where we hope to be. I would like his first signing to be our new captain, just not sure who?
  24. I posted this the other day and hope that RDM will consider snapping up some of the best young talent around the leagues, either on loan or permanently. Plenty out there and did a list of some suggestions: Gk: Christian Walton, Daniel Bentley, Danny Ward. Def: Dominic Iorfa, Kortney Hause, Rico Henry, Jamaal Lascelles, Paddy McNair, Mason Holgate, Michael Hector, Liam Moore, Joe Gomez, Lewis Dunk. Mid: Anthony Knockaert, Tom Carroll, Nathan Redmond, Nathaniel Chalobah, Josh Vela, Teddy Bishop, Callum Camps, Moses Odubajo, Alex Mowatt, Bradley Dack, Will Hughes, Sheyi Ojo, Brandon Barker, Alex Iwobi, Rolando Aarons, Romaine Sawyers, Rubén Loftus-Cheek. Str: Cauley Woodrow, Zach Clough, Will Grigg, Patrick Bamford, Che Adams, Nakhi Wells, Joel Campbell, Moussa Dembele, Tom Bradshaw, Kemar Roofe. Some of the above are ambitious to say the least and would only be possible on loan (ie Loftus-Cheek). Would RDM still have some connections at Chelsea? Some would be 'projects' but surely worth considering? In addition, put some of the above against some experience (ie Artur Boruc, Marc Wilson, Damian Delaney, Barry, Osman, Jedinak, Morrison, Walters), then we could have the makings of a decent side again. This is without considering some of our own like Adama, Grealish, Amavi etc.
