  1. Is Clark staring for them? Because if so, with Ayew, Adomah and Kodjia running at him, we'll definitely get at least one pen.
  2. If it wasn't for the money they'd lose from the Unions, I wouldn't be surprised at the PLP leaving Labour on mass and forming the political version of the 'No Homers' club'.
  3. Out of interest are there any figures on the geography of the new Labour party members, and momentum members? Particularly in Scotland, and marginal seats?
  4. I watched a Corbyn supporter on the news arguing with some young people that young people will vote Corbyn. The young people said: no they won't., most young people won't bother voting at all. He said they were wrong, young people love Jeremy. It was like watching a political satire.
  5. Why does no one ever argue about an Olympic athletes right to have a life and go out for a drink when they want? Aside from what Jack may or may not have done. I don't understand why in general footballers, some of the most rewarded sports people in the world, are held to such low fitness standards and expectations compared to other sports.
  6. Alex McLeish had a protest against him before he'd even managed a game.
  7. I always say, when you need to mix it up, a game changing sub, a tactical masterstroke, bringing on a left back for a left back is the decision to make.
  8. At least Elphick is smart enough to cover Richards defensive whole when he's nowhere to be seen.
  9. That he's even on the bench has me seriously questioning RDM's judgement.
  10. What I will say about today is that Forrest were absolute gash.
  11. I'm going to have to verify this on snopes. If it's true then Owen Smith better hope to get Status Quo on board, or his campaign is dead in the water.
  12. Just finished watching Stranger Things, it was pretty good. Kept hearing how much 80's movies references it had, but no one mentioned quite how much it lifted wholesale from various video games.
  13. I'm guessing, influenced like all politicians, it's because: a) he lives there. his constituency is there.
  14. My other half goes for a drink after work sometimes and it's all women that go. This is not only a pretty sexist statement (the women have to get back to look after the children, because the man can't be doing it.) , it's also shows he is completely out of touch with how people in the UK actually live their lives.
  15. There was that Charles N'Zogbia somewhere, wasn't fit to play, wouldn't train, they couldn't get rid because of his long contract. ... no wait, that was us too.
  16. Whatever your opinion on Gabby, I think the whole situation (even more so N'Zogbia) really highlights that something needs to be done about footballers contracts. The fact that a player could sign a five year contract and then essentially have a terrible attitude, let their fitness go, be generally disruptive etc.., but still collect their full pay for the whole five years just isn't healthy for the game. They really need to be regulations on minimum standards in contracts. Particularly to protect smaller clubs. (I realise this is never going to happen with player power the way it is)
  17. Give the physio someone to practice on?
  18. Wouldn't want him myself, but his record since moving to the MLS is much better than many so-called 'star' MLS signings.
  19. ^ It was less is actual opinion of Valencia, but more what he thinks of players like Gollini and Ayew after the last few games.
  20. If Tony writes off Valencia after three games, I love to know his opinion of some of our players so far this season.
  21. Yes, unfortunately. Because we only have three first team centre backs, all of whom have had injury wrecked seasons in recent memory. (and Richards should never be relied on to play for us again)
