I actually know very little about Dyche, as a coach, apart from he can get good performances from Matty Lowton.
(I have also just discovered that auto-correct changes his name to douche)
Some of the stuff that Wagner is getting praise for really is pretty basic. I'm not saying that as a negative on him, but it really highlights the shambles of football coaching and how far behind it is of other sports.
With JJ Abrams involved in Westworld there will almost certainly be more to the set up than there initially appears.
I was also disappointed to see Stephen Ogg not last more than a couple of minutes.
Seriously did people watch us under Sherwood? The team was tactically clueless, disorganised and unfit. And he ostracized the foreign signings, and pandered to the players who acted like d***heads.
I look at Steve Bruce's time at Sunderland (another club is a s**shower of a state) and see how he performed under those sort of circumstances. His time at Sunderland was not a success, that coupled with the fact, I wouldn't want to let him loose in the transfer market for us.
Just read this on David Wagner:
"Wagner took his players on a bonding tour of Sweden, where they had to survive with only basic equipment for a few days"
Gabby would not make it back alive.
Aye, but there will be good managers at clubs throughout the footballing world, doing well, for whom Villa (even in our current state) are a step up. Obviously bagging a current premier league manager is highly unlikely.
Actually thinking about it a little, Brentford and Bristol are the only Championship teams we've played that I thought looked decent. So maybe their managers have something good going for them.
