  1. No tick boxes anymore, you need to set a striker into the target man role, same for playmaker
  2. Just like the guaranteed injury you will get as soon as you have made 3 subs...
  3. Really like the feature they have added, where the role in a formation can be set to change if you play a different player there, no need to mess around as a soon as the player is picked in that position the role changes to the one you specified. Nice.
  4. I do believe it is listed as a known issue, in relation to poor defending and goalkeeping, and will hopefully be fixed before release
  5. Given him a couple of substitute appearances, nothing special so far, League cup against Coventry at home to come, so a full home debut is looking likely soon
  6. The loan repayments starting more or less straight away don't help £400k + a month, not far enough in to see the impact this will have
  7. Only 2 goals in his second game and a poor 9.4 rating ...... Helenius is also pretty impressive 3 goals in 2 games for him as well, forming quite an impressive partnership with Benteke upfront
  8. Playing him as a complete forward with Attack Duty
  9. 4 goals (2 penalties) in a 5-1 victory over Southampton in my first first game with a rating of 9.8, seems pretty much spot on
  10. Milner did eventually, and we had an agreement with young that he could go if he stayed for one more season, as said above downing did as well
  11. That's a shame, because he rocks the hell out of it. I love both the home and away, and all three goalkeeper shirts -- heck, I even like the socks! Thumbs up from me. He has chosen pink personalised gloves, so I'm sure he is fine with it
  12. In season 3 and it seems that a fair few of the players that start at Villa can do a decent job later in the game. I was planning on a career game starting at the bottom and working my way up, but after the first season Villa had been relegated and I couldn't resist the challenge of rebuilding and taking them back up. Getting relegated is hard on the wage bill, less than 500k, and with people like bent, given, dunne, makoun, nzogbia taking up around half of that, it is a challenge. Shay given is doing his best to bleed the club dry, still with me on 52k a week, no-one wants him and he won't accept a contract termination, though he has finally decided to do the honourable thing and retire at the end of the season Winning the championship was a breeze, highest goals and points record, and now i'm back in the premier league I still have a core of the original team, my defence, is unchanged, lowton, baker, clark and Bennett, and all of them are doing pretty well, baker is a beast, just got 4 goals in a game and is in the England squad, though yet to make his debut. Westwood and Bannan play on a regular basis in the centre of midfield and are doing well, Westwood plays for England and Bannan just finished a game with 7 assists..... Benteke is still there, though his days are numbered, I have managed to pick up a French regen who is an absolute monster, 6'8" tall and 15 stone, unsurprisingly he rarely gets beaten in the air Building is going to be fun going forward, want to keep an English based squad theme which should be interesting!!
  13. They interviewed Ward after the fight, he claimed the last time he beat Froch, while it was in America, it was still a 5 hour plane ride from where he is from so by no means a "home" fight. Said Froch's people need to call him and sort it out or stop name dropping him after every fight, didn't rule out fighting in the UK, but I guess its all about the "£'s" or should I say "$'s"
  14. Injuries are an issue, to the point where I can't make tactical substitutions as I need the subs to replace injured players. In 4 out of the last 5 games my starting right back had to be subbed through injury, and in the last 3 of those games I had to make 3 changes in each game to replace injured players
  15. This suits us but not necessarily them, if they take our players it potentially stops the next max clayton \ Luke murphy getting game time, helps us but in the long term hinders them. For a team like Crewe and many of the lower league teams bringing their own players through is an important part of then staying afloat.
  16. So how does Demba Ba get a medal? He played for Newcastle so is ineligible
  17. If you have a choice, you really don't want to watch it!!!
  18. May work in our favour, Wenger may have been a bit complacent with them winning at half time, would expect them to get a bit of a rocket now
  19. They will receive a reduced payment next year I think, the payments are over 4 years, 16m a year for the first 2 years, 8m a year for the next 2 years.

Well Spurs winning will mean they are still in the chase for 4th, and they have Wigan next. In reality we were always likely to lose at Old Trafford regardless of todays result, this just makes Spurs want/ need to win at Wigan that little bit more.

Or the twenty other games we had leads in only to cough them up Especially the 3 games where we were ahead by 2 goals (Man Utd, West Brom, and Everton) and only come away with 2 points

New managers normally get a reaction during their first couple of games. Readings problems is their next 2 games are away at Man Utd and Arsenal, it will need to be one hell of a reaction for them to get anything from those 2.
