Of course they will. Leicester sacked Ranieri after he won the league Spurs sacked Poch after he got them to a CL Final. It's how modern football works. If people on here thinks Smith is on a free pass and is safe from the sack regardless of results they are horribly wrong. That being said i hope he will be able to turn things around before it would come to that.

No it was the right time to sack him when we did. But i've got to admit, yeah i'm still unconvinced by Smith. He has to improve his in game management and we can't keep conceding 20+ shots every game.

I understand this point but there are tall strikers that doesn't regard themselves as target men. Lukaku is a good example. Lukaku is not good at hold up play. He is mainly a poacher, a fox in the box and Man Utd used him wrong. I'd like to see Wesley playing behind an actual number 9. I think we would see a much better Wesley.

We aren't playing him as a false 9. By the looks of it Wes is more suited in a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 system. No shit he is struggling. He is expected to do something which is not his game. I have a lot more sympathy for the guy now, i didn't realize he was a false 9.

Sissoko as well. Lot of physicality in this Spurs side that will suit Mourinho well. Mourinho will make this Spurs side really tough to play against.
