  1. Looking at that record that shows he is only slightly better than McCarthy over 100 games in Premiership for one club. Way i see it is Mick McCarthy is an EXCELLENT manager in the Championship!! Championship promotion specialist!! But... like some many others he fails to deliver when he gets to the Premiership and is deffo not a Premiership Manager similar to other promotion specialist Neil Warnock and many others who seem get promoted wherever they go!! That shows you Lambert's level possibly a very good Championship manager although hard to tell as he was only there 1 season with Norwich and possibly over-achieved to get to Premiership whereabouts McCarthy has got Wolves, Sunderland and possibly Ipswich (depending on how they do this season) Lambert is definitely not a Premiership level manager
  2. Table for results since Lambert signed his 4 year new contract:
  3. also this quote from Lambert:- He (Cleverley) is 'trying too hard' but has backed the player to win frustrated fans over. like that is ever going to happen specially with Cleverley not looking interested since he arrived here and wants to move to Everton in the summer and set his heart on Everton all along So how exactly is he going to win frustrated fans over

  10. my team vs Hull, go back to basics and 4-4-2 Guzan Hutton Okore Clark Cissokho Westwood Delph Gil Sinclair Benteke Weimann
  11. Nah he signed up for some guaranteed game time before we make him a great player and Valencia activate his buy back clause read this before, but have they even got a buy back clause? Does anyone know for certain as i don't think we would do that... but it's the Villa we are talking about
  12. random twitter tweets from people who support other teams: Wait till summer when all the daily rags start linking him with other teams
  13. 1-1 at moment ! we have 2 men on yellows!! bring some subs on to freshen it up Lambert.. Otherwise asking for trouble!!

  16. Arrow signs been seen at game on a number of tweets: Ben Cobley ‏@bencobley 1 min1 minute ago Villa fans holding up arrow signs to point their players towards the goal. Approaching ten and a half hours without scoring now... ‏@Hazardify 4 mins4 minutes ago lol Villa fans have an arrow pointing towards the goal. Peterson Hands ‏@trolleyLAMB 5 mins5 minutes ago Credit to the Villa fan behind the goals with the arrow sign pointed at the goals. Top shelf.
  17. Paul Lamberts pre match interview: hmmm
  18. Agreed!! Dropping Benteke shows Lambert has lostit! i mean not like he has had much supply from midfield?? I've said before 4-4-2 at moment with Weimann (who linking up well with Gil) and Benteke up front with Sinclair on left and Gil on right this formation would lead to goals..
  19. More ridicule from the press! every week now they are having a laugh at our goalscoring form:
  20. Kevin MacDonald i would like to see back as Assistant Manager as he is highly respected here and a lot of people was sad to see him go. But doubt he would want to work with Lambert again.
  21. Oliver Kay of The Telegraph has wrote an article regarding Lerner but unfortunately it's subscription to The Telegraph online only. https://twitter.com/TimesSport/status/563981763324555265/photo/1
  22. I didn't go to Uni myself, started as trainee in IT around 1998 but by that time I was building up computers etc since Windows 95 came out and then Windows 98 and gained my Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and other IT qualifications from 2000. Don't think Uni is the be all of everything is my personal view, I have been IT Contracting the last 3 years (Left a perm job to go long term IT contracting) and earning a good rate of pay. I wouldn't listen to what the guy says who said you only can earn big bucks if you went to Uni. You're an IT Contractor?... We need to talk.... no problem mate, what do you need to know?
