  1. yep from what i watched, although admittedly i missed the first half. Did Richards do anything worse than the abomination of that own goal? That alone should be a sackable offence. Oh and i dont want to see Richards at CB ever again either. I'd give him one last shot to see if he is any better than Hutton at RB, and if no then get rid asap.
  2. probably the worst CB performance i've seen during my whole time supporting the club Just before the goal he charged out of defence into central midfield, when there was little danger, put a powder puff tackle in then got bypassed. He then proceeded to walk / jog back while Luton attacked and we were left 3 v 4. I was still cursing him about that when he then passed the ball into his own net under no pressure at all. I was apopletic by this point and would have probably harmed the bloke if he had been in close proximity. Little talent there to start with, no footballing brain, and on top of that his confidence is shot. Gutted as i thought he would end up being an asset for us, instead he is just another problem with have to deal with. Seriously pissed off how everything we touch seems to turn to piss at the moment.
  3. Please RDM dont ever make me have to witness this chumps name on the team sheet ever again.
  4. Fair play to Tony. Chinese mega multimillionaire and he is sitting it out watching this gash away at Luton. Must be wondering what he has gotten into. Hutton, Okore, Gardner, Gestede. I hope it is clear as day to the manager that these players should be no where near the first 11,
  5. I'm am in shock at how poor Okore is playing. I rated him massively once upon a time. Shockingly inept everytime the ball is at his feet.
  6. Get Okore, Gardner and Hutton, Gestede out the team quick time, a few more players in, and we will be a half decent mid table outfit. Massive rebuilding job on our hands, and any thoughts of promotion are quickly becoming fantasy.
  7. Gardner has finally proved he is no where near good enough. Shame it took us a decade or so to find out.
  8. Now he is faking an injury to get himself out the firing line. Get Okore out, disgusting performance
  9. what is Okore doing! No effort to get back after charging out of defence, awfull defending
  10. cant understand why people want Veretout to stay. Saw absolutely nothing from him last season
  11. Peeps, need your help. I have first 2 weeks in August off work and nothing planned. I'm looking for suggestions for a trip i could go make on my own. I'm up for anything but only have a budget of about £1000 - 1200 (total inc spends) Was hoping for some kind of secluded beach holiday, or a thailand adventure, though the latter looks well out my price range. I'm now open for anything including one or two shorter city breaks. After looking online, holidays are for familys and couples only it seems, not singles! And im too old now for a lads holiday :-(
  12. I'll go with the violence and fight scenes being some of the best on TV. Not sure that overall its up there with the GOATS. Its marvelous, but so batshit crazy and OTT at times, that i cant quite compare it with some of the deeper epics (sopranos, bb, the wire etc). It's definately a show that seems to have flown under the radar for some reason. Its worth everyone giving it a try. It really is quite unique.
  13. Gommorah season 2 i bloody excellent. On a part with Sopranos and Boardwalk empire as far as gangster epics go. Soon get used to the subtitles. And for me they seem to even enhance it a little, gives it another layer of gritty neopolitan realism on top. I'm wondering whether to give Billions a try to fill the void. That or watch Deadwood through from the beginning for a 2nd time. Was along time ago when i first watched it.
  14. Very conservative line ups and tactics considering we have nothing to lose now. I cant believe it looks like i am not going to see a starting line up of Gill, Grealish, Traore lining up behind Ayew. That with a base of Veretout & Gueye is the one line up that might have got the crowd off their feet and more importantly score some goals. Garde is doing his best i suppose, as i do think we clearly have the worst squad in the league.
  15. so far from being good enough for this level its astonishing he has as many prem appearances as he does. This has been obvious from pretty much his 2nd or 3rd game with us. To compound the cock up we made in starting him we seem to insist on playing him. In him and Hutton we have the worst full back pairing in the league and a big contributor to our current woes. You could make an argument to keep him in the summer as he might be handy in the championship next season, but i honestly think he isnt good enough for that league either.
  16. Have you seen the CCTV footage from the hotel? So she can walk unaided in heels, not staggering about at all, holding a large pizza that she ordered herself, and then you can even see she realizes she left something in the taxi and went back to try and get it. She can manage this, but is too drunk to say no? And was so wasted she has no memory at all of the nights events?
  17. Not big into politics, but just wanted to add my 2 cents. I have never been a fan of the conservatives (my first and only vote for them so far was in the most recent election), but when i look at the other political parties, they strike me as the only ones even half competent to run this country. People in general seem to be forgetting the mess our economy was in, and how susceptible we were to the crash back in 2008. Too many are railing against any change that affects current living standards in even the slightest way, with no concern for the fate of this country, or our long term economic prospects. The fact Labour haven't acknowledged their failures when they were in power, or put forward any real plans for cutting the deficit and our overall debt means i cant give them my vote. They screwed up so badly when last in power, that i basically want an apology and a frank acceptance of these failures before i could even begin to consider voting for them. How Labour caused or dealt with things like the benefit culture, the iraq war, immigration, our meek acceptable of certain EU rules we could have easily fought against or opted out of, and the weakness of our economy to handle the financial crisis when it hit, are things i'm not sure i can ever forgive them for. The Conservatives are at least making decisions on the economy for the long term that so far i have mostly agreed with. Importantly for me, they gain no political capital from some of these decisions, and some of them will actually cost them votes in the short term. They seem prepared to make unpopular decisions as they believe it is important for the long term prospects of our country. Whereas with Labour, rightly or wrongly i feel they would more likely steer away from, or water down any big policy's on the economy that would involve them losing voters especially when only a later government would reap any potential rewards. I have zero faith in the current Labour party and i think they only concerned about spin and public opinion, and who have now chosen a queen hating wildcard as a leader, who also wants to scrap our nukes at a time when the middle east is in chaos, and Russia is the most belligerent it's been since the fall of the Iron Curtain. Would anyone here honestly take Labour and Corbyn to run this country at such a difficult time? The very thought of it scares me shitless.
  18. are you sure its tonight? i thought it was Monday next week? Hope i havent missed it, season 1 was incredible. Oh and the walking dead was brilliant. still love this show. Not quite up there with The Wire, Sopranos etc, but comes close. It becomes less and less about the gore and has some brilliant character moments.
  19. why should we be running rings around 'these sorts of teams?' By these sorts of teams im guessing you mean teams that are struggling near the bottom of the table in recent seasons.......like us then?
  20. Yep! I am 3 episodes in and already think its brilliant. netflix starting to make some really good shows.
  21. Finale of Hannibal was excellent. Really going to miss this show. Did anyone else catch the after credits scene with Bedelia! WTF??
  22. havent seen anything from him yet. early days but he has shown nothing so far. Looks the poorest from our summer signings
  23. Gnabry to West Brom on loan. He will be a very good player. Seeing as Sherwood is an Arsenal fan its a shame we couldnt get in on some of this Arsenal loanee action. Any one of Akpom, Jenkinson or Gnabry would all have been very usefull.
