  1. Download http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/to a computer and have a USB-stick memory ready. Then just start the program, chose, for example, Xubuntu from the program options and the "14_04 live" version and let it install to the OS to the USB drive. Then boot the old computer from the USB drive. Either you can run the live version from the USB or you can install it to the harddrive on the computer. The latter is probably what you want if you intend to use the computer more than just testing it.
  2. Well bloody hell!! They offered a 21% pay-rise. A commute of 1 mile instead of 60. All other bells and whistles roughly the same. I'm **** having that!!!!!
  3. I just drew blood on my thumb and broke a nail (stop sniggering), by missing the hole while chugging laundry into the dryer and jamming my thumb on the side of the machine. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE????
  4. The mobile-skin is excellent for phones (Sorry Simon Off topic)
  5. I really should have a way that people could recognise that by helping with the site's running costs.... One day we could be advert free (and not have to follow the advertisers' rules). Haha duly noted mate. As is the great work you are doing with the site.. So how does one donate? There is a shop-button underneath the Villatalk logo. (Which reminds me I'm probably due too)

Same, Endomondo for me. They have a good import mechanism for Garmin watches.

This would be much more amusing in the General Chat thread or the Relationship advice thread. Well, I don't like to tootel my horn trumpet melodiously in other threads

Santos on Bosse rivals Barboza on Etim for pure nastiness. Holy crap what a KO https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=15&v=NQnfuVxCChY Great performance form Larkin and Romero as well. Good fights again. Happy for by Sirwan Kakai as well. Drawing Chris Beal to get into the TUF house was bad luck, happy he got a second chance.

  13. Job interview a bit out of the blue. Feel very tempted if I get a proper offer. I think I need a refresh of surroundings
  14. Loads of British people in this thread, and loads of lager talk? You have a plethora of lovely Ales and Stouts, drink it for goodness sake.

It's a few steps up from anything Conor has fazed yet that's for sure. I saw Conors UFC debut in stockholm and the way he picked Brimage (Who is no scrub) apart made me raise both eyebrows. His best win in my opinion was the way he handled Holloway even though he blew his knee. That showed grit and heart needed to be a champ. Aldo is a different beast. His kicking-game will not allow Conor to stand the way he does for long, but kicks also lend themselves to counters which Conor does well. Both also hit hard but Conor seams to have mote accuracy. So, for me it's kicks vs accuracy that will be the main point. For me it's very 50-50 but the mentality gives the edge to the Irishman, he clearly is in Aldos head. But on the other hand, long term champs are just that, for a reason.
  16. I can recommend (if you like acoustic guitar music) a label called "Stockfisch records" They specialize in doing top of the line recordings and they sound effing fantastic. I recommend "closer to the music Vol.1" to get a sample of what they can do. http://www.stockfisch-records.de/pages_art/sf12_cttm1_e.html MP3 sample and another
  17. Challenge accepted! 4/6 with computer and a good set of grado labs headphones. But F me that Coldplay track was horribly mastered and compressed to hell. With a track like that no "uncompression" will save it. Which links into the argument if it is worth it to pay for lossless media. It always comes down to the original master and how the engineer treats the recording (and the equipment you listen through of course). Some artists excel at it. (Madonna, Sting, Nils Lofgren, Sara K, Chris Jones) and other plainly suck donkey balls. (Mostly rock-artists unfortunately but a distorted electric guitar is hard to get right)
