I do. He has shown no improvement since he joined us, and he has shown no signs of being capable of improving in the future.

The kind of money he is on, I have no doubt we could replace him with a better player.

I said quite early on that if he had not learned the basics at Barcelona he would never learn them. He does not have a clue except run as fast as you can with the ball. I do not see the talent that others see in him, and suggesting that he will go on to play for a top side is pie in the sky. He has achieved zero while he has been with us, and unfortunately I cannot see anyone else taking him. The new N'Zogbia, but less talented.

Round's appointment, with his Degree in Sporting Directorship, does not seem so strange now. I still wonder if he was first choice though?

You have confused me here, DDID. He is worse since he left us, and while he was with us, I do not remember his detractors claiming that it was because of the players around him.

Don't know why a player's lack of ability is often blamed on the quality of his team mates. A good player will shine even among the dross, and will shine even brighter alongside good players.
