    SirGaryCahill, what in Delfouneso makes you think he should be starting our first team now? I see someone who has got talent, but perhaps not enough to get to the top level. Surely all these managers cant be wrong? I hope I am wrong by the way, but doubt he will be a star player

    I think he will be getting game time very soon, and once he gets in hopefully will be there to stay. To be honest, I am glad he has not been rushed back after his bad injury

    Loved his attitude when England got the free kick. Henderson and that Chamberlain lad obviously wanted to take the free kick, but Gardner stood his ground and placed it perfectly. Second goal was excellent as well. Not seen the comment, but apparently Grant has said something today about he will get a go in the first team before christmas, but they are taking it slowly cos of his injury last season. Good management IMHO

    Lets be honest, he didnt want to come to Villa, so WTF did we sign him? However, think he came back with a far better attitude this season and would love to see him perform in a Villa shirt, as he is a talented player

    Have to say, why the feck do we stick Collins up front for the last few minutes when we have someone playing in centre mid who was an England centre forward, pathetic.

    Why Clark is being compared with Busquets I cant fathom. I think he could become a good defensive midfielder in the future, but his position at the minute is centre half.

    I dont disagree dakid007, Clark is good on the ball and hopefully wont get turned as easy as Collins did at the end on Sunday. Still unsure physically strong enough yet mind for centre back

    If the likes of Ireland, N'Zogbia and Bannan are to shine, we need to be playing the ball through the midfield. Thought we did that for quite a while in the second half at QPR and 2 out of the 3 performed, less said about N'Zogbias efforts the better. I think Ireland can be a good player, just needs to show the right attitude and thought he did that last week

    Collins is on high wages as well and nowhere as good, though accept Cuellar is in the last year of his contract. Still cant get over the fact he was dropped after his performance at Wolves last season

    I think we need Collins out of the team, full stop. Dunne has been good and was excellent today. Collins positioning is poor, no way he should have let the player get goalside of him today, jumps in too much and ends up on his arse. The fact he cant even get in the Welsh team speaks volumes

    FFS, give the guy a chance, I recall many Villa players starting slowly and then coming good. Ken McNaught is a prime example. He replaced a hero in Chris Nicholl and it was hard for him, but see how he turned out

    Well, as an almost old codger to some who has seen the likes of Chico Hamilton and Willie Anderson on the wing, I am looking forward to seeing N'Zogbia in the team. Is Downing twice the player he is, not on the show in the game between the two teams at VP. I like Downing, but think this lad can give us different options
