    SGC, I have no problems with players going on loan, though disagree with same division to be honest though it has benefited us with Walker and Milner in recent years. Just think the Doncaster thing is a farce and is wrong

    surely the fa should intervene? dont blame FA or Doncaster for it. if clubs are willing to do a deal its their own fault. Is their really any difference that City pay half of Adebayor salary or Bellamy full salary last season Just wrong IMO. If someone takes a player on loan, they should pay his wage.     I agree Mantis and hope the uproar after the manure game has made the jolly jock realise that we have to go at teams. We do have decent players attacking wise and need to play to our strengths and Bent is one of those

    I agree the service hasnt been great for Bent at times but he has had many very good chances that he has squandered. That said, I think if we give Gabby a goo up front with him and the two wingers, he will come good soon again

    Villachris is right, Stoke will be right in his face as Blackburn did in semi final and totally shook him up. Hopefully he will be able to cope a bit better now and wish him all the best

    While totally against his appointment, Iwas also prepared to give McLeish a chance, but the way he set up the team at Spuds and yesterday proves what we knew all along - the guy is a fecking eejit who should be nowhere near our football club. He needs to be sacked before he takes us down

    Clark is a talented lad who has the right attitude, agree he will make the odd mistake, but would rather him displaying the fight and effort we want from a Villa player

    Collins has been awful for a good while now, but seems to be absolved of blame. Either put Cuellar there or put him right back and Clark in the centre, might be a good idea against a team that will let us play football as well

    Redknapp messed him up at Spuds, him and Defoe are far too similar. Not Spud player as not technically good enough according to the Spud nobs I work with, if he scores goals what is the problem. They are now saying the same about Defoe.

    If Bent was playing for Man Ure, he would get 25 goals per season. You may point out about Tottenham, different style of footy and Defoe was in the team.
