I caught most of the game yesterday and he was Shams best player I thought. Obviously he's not ready to come into our team right away but he looks a good prospect and these European games will help him develop as he plays against a higher standard of player.

My brother flew to S Korea yesterday. He is spending a year there teaching English. That's what I do and what Tom is doing. Your bro will love it. Any idea whereabouts in Korea he has moved to? It's 30-40 mins from Seoul he said. I can't remember the name of the city. Something like Pyalong Taek? I'm probably way off! Pyeongtaek I reckon. He's just a bit further South of Seou than me. Is he a Villa fan? That sounds right. No he's an Arsenal fan :? Booo! I was interested in dating him. Some of my mates are Arsenal fans, he may be in luck yet. Ha ha I'll let him know!

I would have taken a point before kick off. Fulham have played a lot more football than us up to this point and to keep a clean sheet was a bonus. The defence looked solid for the most part. Now on to two winnable home games.

It might not be the worst thing in the world if this game is postponed. Fulham have already played four competitive games and we have seen other teams who have had an early start in Europe carry that on to the Premiership. That would leave us with as John says two winnable home games to start us off with the first of those being against a team we beat comfortably in Hong Kong. -
I saw this lad play against my local team Sligo Rovers last week in the Europa League. He looks nippy and caused problems particularly in the 1st leg.

It was a bloody good job we had two girls, as we had agreed on girls' names within about half an hour of discussing it. We were at a total stalemate with boys' names though, would have been a nightmare. The wife and I can only agree on boy's names. We are really struggling with girl's names. It's not even that we can't agree on one, we are just drawing a blank. Is this a weird sign that we will have a boy? Did you by anychance choose the name jack ?....if not it must have been on the short list No Jack isn't on the shortlist but it was the most popular boy's name in Ireland last year.

Mixed bag really. Decent performance in spells. Positives were Makoun, Nzogbia and Ireland when he came on. I thought Warnock was decent too as he has been all pre season.
