I don't think some of our players are on his wavelength. He plays first time passes a lot and on a few occasions caught Petrov by surprise as he didnt expect the ball to be played so quickly. I've seen this in every game where he has played where he plays a first time pass and the intended target is caught on their heels a bit and it results in an interception. He will come good though. I'm sure of it. He has great quality on the ball and will develop an understanding with the other players the more he trains with them and maybe even more importantly when his english improves.

If we stick with that team next week I'm confident of a win. Maybe put Carlos in for Collins.

Results elsewhere make it even tighter now. Our home games will decide our fate and any points on the road are a massive help. I would have taken a point before kick off but I didnt see other teams below us doing as well as they have.

Watched 127 Hours last night. Quite enjoyed it and it passed a couple of hours on a lazy Sunday. I also saw Case 39 over the weekend but I wasn't overly impressed. It started out well but half way through it just got a bit weird and it could have been so much better.

I have a mate who had a theory that when you go into a pub/club start chatting to the best looking girl in the place and work your way down. He used to get absolute stunners. He didn't give a shit if he got knocked back, he would just shrug his shoulders and move on to the next girl. He isn't the best looking bloke in the world but the girls responded to his slight cockiness. It's the law of averages I guess.

You'll just feel like a dirty whore if ye do that ;-) I don't mind that at all. I just have lost my touch when it comes to chatting up birds. I'm completley hopeless. I'm going out this Saturday, and have been told there may be a few lovely ladies there. I'll be on the lookout, but, I'll fail because I don't know how to approach them... Valentine's weekend is a great weekend to pull. Single girls with a holiday reminding them that they are single - easy pickings.

Not doing gifts this year as our 1st wedding anniversary is coming up and we will do a weekend away then. We are going for a meal with another couple though.

We can take positives from this game for sure. We dominated possession for long spells at OT. Makoun was quality. Friedel was excellent. We have a good run of fixtures coming up and I expect to see us climb into the top half of the table in the coming weeks so I'm not too disheartened.

He did well. Very good in the air and I suppose the biggest compliment I can give him is that I didn't notice him much which for a defender generally means you are doing a good job.

Watched Buried last night and I have to say it's not bad for a film that is set in a box for an hour and a half.

I hope he plays some part this weekend. He will have a point to prove and will want to rub Mancini's nose in it. This could be his time.

Beatles songs are great singalong songs so how about "With a Little Help From My Friends"? Its easy to pick up and the words could easily be adapted I reckon
