  1. Re the Grealish shirt burn.....Take a look at his older tweets - Hes a blues fan
  2. Great signing & forget his age he is a proven goalscorer for here and now - As above Kane will be 150m and get nowhere near that now its for what they bring NOW im very very happy with this one - Well done Lange, Deano and NSWE
  3. Always good to improve depth of the squad, maybe an option for 3 at the back ?
  4. Excited for this one now, wonder if he will take the 10 shirt? I do think it may take him a few weeks to get up to speed so need to be patient
  5. Final post on this thread from me..... Jack Grealish has been a brilliant player for Aston Villa and despite a lot of the drivel & rewriting of history being written on social media my mind isnt changed on that fact. Am I disappointed? Of course, he was only 12 months ago bought into the project but things changes and he has his motives and although I don't agree with them I wish him all the best before moving onto the thinking of the club that's been here for 140 years plus The future is bright, we have two of the best owners we could have, a solid squad of players, a season ticket waiting list of 15,000, our highest position in 10 years and a long term vision of where we want to be and although it may be a rocky few weeks I think we will be better in the long term for it and will be a much more balanced and rounded team. My advice.....Let this all blow over, save the bile for another day and lets talk on the other threads about the lads that want to be here for this season Up The Villa!
  6. After the way this has been played out in public under the gaze of fans etc today then this would be an absolute PR disaster by the club if he is to go I hope they know what they are doing...
  7. I was just thinking this and thats why i find it strange unless he is staying and that decision has been made that you woul dhave him in front of fans etc, its madness if its still up in the air and not fair on anyone involved
  8. Only thing im reading into what's happened this morning is if there was a deal to be done or any doubt it would be a massive PR error to have him in front of cameras/meetings fans etc - You could say hes working in the gym etc
  9. Need a supply of rattles and dummies for some here and on twitter, proper embarrassing grown men throwing around insults like spoilt kids Just chill out and see how this plays through before you start moaning about the 2 blokes that literally saved us from going out of business (They are worth over 10bn quid so im pretty sure they know what they are doing in life) and Grealish who as of now is still our player and captain!
  10. But I maintain what I say, plenty would be lapping it up if it was positive towards Villa, fans are desperate for transfer news - Its the sky jim white yellow tie brigade that have taken it to a new level of hype The only Villa man to listen to is Percy
  11. This is my take, the owners have a project and they will want their main main ala Giannis for the Bucks.....they are minted and the club is in a good financial position and Grealish in my opinion wont force a move and has a long term contract BUT this 100m number keeps getting chucked about and so I wonder if that is the clause thats in the contract and thats why this wont go away
  12. Totally embarrassing isn't it, i maintain what i said yesterday if Sammy Lee called Ashley Preece and he was sending the same articles re Ward Prowse they would all be lapping it up but as they dont want to hear it they turn into Children Fans beg for transfer info and when its shared they all call BS Bizarre
  13. Im more talking of twitter to be honest, people believe a random account with 30 followers calling themselves avfctransfermole or the like if its telling them something they want to hear
  14. I cant help but think if Sammy Lee was a Villa Journo telling us exactly the same but re Bailey people would be lapping up
  15. Its strange isnt it how football attracts it? Its a mainly seen as an ''England'' problem but if you go back to 2018 when France won the world cup there was 300 arrests and riots across the country and the behaviour ive seen at Wembley for the last games with Villa has been appalling, grown men fighting in front of their kids, throwing bottles, smashing coaches and urinating in peoples gardens - People drink much more at Cricket and yet ive never seen any trouble !
  16. The fact that this still continues to happen and actually is probably getting worse shows why players started to do the knee gesture to raise awareness and yet we still get the booing and the whole I don't agree with BLM organisation argument even though that has been squashed on several occasions by players including Mings who have said that the gesture is to raise awareness and not about the group. It will get to a point where players will be forced to take even more action which could even be as far as striking if this continues although im not sure what the answer is, yes social medai companies need to play their part but the bigger issues are the people that post it and share those views
  17. Just shows how far the club has come now that even the bullshit has a European feel to it...Im taking that a sign of us being absolutely massive
  18. From a being there point of view Bolton 1 Villa 0 under Bruce in the snow was a bad one, just a horrible day weather wise and game/performance was awful I think Bradford away result wise takes some beating outside of that
  19. Finally got through, 2 hours of trying then 30 mins when i got through that and agree Madrid, im happy to wait in a que just let me through and tell me what place i am and i will leave it on in background as i work
  20. Trying to call this morning for reallocation.....90 mins of engaged tones...surely there is a better method than this
  21. Disagree, its 100m !! Its a british transfer record for a player who has known injury problems and as much as we love him its only been the last 18 months that he has performed in the premier league If you take your claret and blue specs off for as much as it hurts and i would rather we didnt sell him they have got a good deal

    Keinan Davis

I would play him on the right over Traore, he has good feet and can give a real back post threat. Overall though im very pleased for him, gets on with it quietly and has waited for a chance which looking at recent sub performances he is taking - Shame Cash was sent off v City as that was his only real opportunity of a full half
