Pentagram were about the nearest thing to Black Sabbath the US produced. Age has made front man Bobby Liebling even more creepy. The support, The Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovel, are pretty much a modern version of Sir Lord Baltimore, another Hard Rock/Proto Metal band from the day. Anyone who didn't get to the Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats supported by Cloudesley, which sold out waaay before the gig, could do worse.

If the songs were performed by your bog standard boy/girl group with regular pop backing - Aye. If Abba magically appeared 30 odd years later, they'd be big now. Their records were so well made and they delivered live.

Barbara & Ernie - 'Prelude to...' Great players like Grady Tate and Keith Jarrett on this. It possibly should have been better. There's a couple of really weak vocal moments that make you wonder what was going on with quality control. The good bits are good. Sitars out -

This is an interesting market now. There are a couple of decent Chinese GoPro clones that seem to produce comparable results. There's also a mini Blackmagic camera. Blackmagic are blurring the lines between consumer and pro broadcast gear, their baby is a very impressive beast.
