I like watching them try. Especially on slippy surfaces.

Just one proper one will do it. The memory of the altered consciousness isn't easily forgotten.

Mushrooms are a more rounded experience than acid, though mushies can turn the stomach a bit. Acid has a bit of a chemical zing about it that continues in the bonce for a few hours after the other effects have died down. Outside is good, crowds are bad (initially anyway). As teenagers we'd often make for Bredon or Malvern and watch the sunrise the following morning. Do remember, you're never quite the same after you've taken a decent dose of either.

You know what this is, don't you ChrisP? Released next week.
  5. ... there's the new Batman film spoiled possibly...
  6. It's reverse psychology. Trying to turn VT scat.
  7. The general shrinking in the size/weight of sweets and snacks pisses me off. Today specifically, it's Wotsits. Never a particularly hearty snack, but a regular pack of Wotsits is now so insubstantial as to be utterly pointless.

It's an expensive way of turning yourself into a gobshite for a couple of hours. The hangover, comprising of a spell of depression, sometimes doesn't arrive for a couple of days, but can sometimes last for a couple of days. Washing it up just makes the whole package more intense. Sustain the input and all sorts weird stuff can happen, mood swings, lengthy spells of depression, 'colds' that last forever and misfiring neurons - One of my mates freaked out badly in a cab once, convinced there was mouse running loose in his trousers. More commonly it feels like insects crawling all over (or under!) the skin. Never really understood the appeal, but some people really like it and Ruge is one of those by the looks of it. On the positive side, a couple of my mates came back from the edge after having kids - It's a real reason for knocking it all on the head.

    Romance isn't dead.
  11. The expanding bubble of mentalness that shagging away would create doesn't bare thinking about. Totally get that, but she ain't thick and works that sort of thing out by herself. Perhaps I should also point out my phone cost £10 four years ago. There's no pouring out of hearts, it's single sentences, and it needs emptied every couple of days. My closest friends know to speak to me in person rather than text on sensitive issues
  12. On a public forum? Not a chance. Though I'd like to. Didn't like him before I'd found out, loathe him now.
  13. A lot of the rumoured celebrity deviants that people have known of, or at least suspected, have been exposed now. There's one notable exception. Got my fingers crossed it comes to light.
  14. Huh, yeah. It was made at the George Lucas Stage at Borehamwood. It was quite cool, you could walk around on suspended walkways above and see the markings on the floor from previous productions (Gotham Bank etc). We installed the video editing systems, so I tended to be off site when they started to broadcast live. It was much spicier than you were allowed to see, there were a couple of live sex shows that were obviously never broadcast.
  15. There's been rumblings about Cliff for years. Working on Big Brother overnight 8 or so years ago, we overheard a conversation between two senior TV producers who had no idea we were in earshot. It was a doozy of a story about Cliff and another TV personality. I think in some circles it's quite well known. The underage thing is a surprise though.
  16. I don't bother with posh headphones for portable devices, they just bust whatever. Keep a decent set in the lounge though. From a purely Hi Fi reproduction standpoint, the Sennheiser HD600 phones at a shade over £200 have about the flattest frequency response you'll see anywhere. That includes super silly expensive high end Hi Fi stuff. They look a bit crap, but they're not a fashion accessory.
  17. I think sometimes they grin and bare a couple of hours in the knowledge that their partners will accompany them home at the end of the evening. The alternative can be messy. Do go on...
  18. Her friends are mostly quite, for want of a better word, square. My phone and internet traffic is much more interesting than hers. When she works the weekends, I'll head out, and more often that not, wake up Sunday on a sofa or in a bed miles from home with female company. Most of her mates would go schiz if their boyfriends/husbands did that. So yeah, I don't mind if she occasionally looks through my phone or Facebook. I don't play away, our relationship works - as much as they ever do We don't do joint bank accounts btw.
  19. Don't think she'd be that bothered, how could she be? It's not all the time either, it's an occasional thing.
  20. It isn't me - I don't particularly believe in marriage. People change over time, and I've seen plenty of 'rock solid' marriages dissolve into chaos, or just rumble on with both parties miserable. We've been together 9 years, and I do share a bed with the girls I'm stopping with, and they're not unattractive. So I'm quite happy for her to go through my messages, better that than be told she's uncomfortable with me staying with friends. I am pug ugly though
  21. I don't, and I'm not talking about Facebook, corporate or government agencies. My girlfriend goes through my phone and messages, whether I'm there or not. It doesn't bother me. I suppose she does it for peace of mind. Some of my best friends are girls and I'll often stay with them over weekends when she's working. She might be stepping up surveillance though. The GFs best friend has just rumbled her cheating husband, barely 15 months after getting married. Suspicion was aroused by him suddenly not leaving his phone about. When he finally did, during a trip to the bog, she investigated and the lies unraveled. So, do your other halves investigate what you're up to? Are they open about it, or do you just suspect that they do?
