    It was all very rushed. We got confirmation after photos of them being on the plane. No way they break rank with the national team when over in Argentina. Villa been shafted here and will happen multiple times this season.

    Some good posts here Regarding transfers, I very much doubt we will see any incomings now. This is a very very well run club with a clear plan. We identify targets and do all we can to get them in early. We are not going to throw money at players for the sake of it, but will hold cash back in reserve for the right player. Yes, a quality CM would be bloody fantastic (and needed) but the whole set up at the club is spot on. We are in capable hands.

    I think some people are being remarkably tolerant about this. If they play all 3 games and more to follow in later international breaks then it’s a **** farce. Forgetting the money spent on signing them and the platform provided for them to get picked for the national team, consider how much they are being paid every week.
