The tackle on Lukaku was sublime. Made even better when it made Lukaku out to be an absolute mug in claiming a penalty. I real like like Hause - distribution not great but a solid back up cb.

Big big statement here. I am incredibly excited by Bailey - think he will be an absolute monster for us. To say he can be better that Grealish is a bit of a reach though - Grealish is likely in our top 5 ever players.

Watkins needs to play left and interchange with Ings. Get Bailey and Buendia on for Axel and maybe Ramsey (who isn’t as effective as last week). Not sure I’d have brought Nakamba on.

Reality is that Buendia will be on the bench for a few games now - especially if we pick up points. Catch-22 for him - can’t ignore a call up, but through going he won’t automatically start for Villa.

I’d like to see Bailey start for one of the cbs and change shape. Keep 3 in midfield and have Ings and Watkins interchange. Buendia and Traore off the bench.

Come on - I understand some criticism towards McGinn but to say he doesn’t work hard is absolutely ludicrous.

I do agree to an extent - was really chuffed with our performance yesterday. Still, this is game 5 with Man Utd to follow. Good performances while encouraging need to translate into results.
