    I genuinely think we are going down now. Pretty certain of it. The kids just are not good enough. Simple as that. Lambert has got it all wrong and might have **** out premier league position because of his philosophy. They just cannot compete all together at this level. Shambles. Lowest i've felt in 20 years of following this club.

    I can already predict the excuse - "its a difficult place to come, Arsenal were turned over here". This is pathetic. Need a big big response this second half. Bannan and Bennett should never put the shirt on again. Clark is the softest centre half I have ever seen. Benteke has lost his touch and should have buried at least one of his chances. Getting a bit tired with this Villa side.

    I completely agree with this. He is part of one of the worst midfields in the league. Once a new CM is signed (hopefully a tough tackling sort) I would much rather drop Bannon and play Westwood who I rate so much higher than Bannon.

    Him and Benteke are feeding on scraps and currently are our only bright spots. With proper service they will bag loads.

    I've got a couple of Boro mates who were surprised he went to us and equally chuffed they had got rid of him. I have seen absolutely nothing from this player that suggests he will be a success. Would love to be wrong, but I just cannot see a premier league player.

    Our whole defence has been woeful this season and think defensively Baker, Vlaar and Clark if all fit need to be accommodated as it would hopefully tighten things up.

    I know he isn't a full back, but when Vlaar and Baker are fit I would have Clark at LB. The back line would be alot more solid with a back-line of: Lowton - Baker - Vlaar - Clark. I am in no way suggesting this should be a long term plan, but to give us more solidity at the back I think with the players we have this is the best we could manage.

    This! I worry every time Bennett gets the ball. He seems to trick himself and whenever he rides a few challenges it doesn't look like he intended to do it! On his showings thus far, I think he is mediocre at best. He has no pace, is clumsy, loses the ball and lacks positional understanding. Not a fan.
