    We don't need to win this tonight, just stay in the fixture and keep our major players fit for Spurs, then we can go for it at home. I think this will be 1-1. ish.

    I think my maths are right but a clean sweep for English clubs tonight and losses for the Germans takes us into that 2nd spot for the extra place... Oh hang on, Qarabag ain't gonna win. Should be hardly any gap later though, if nobody capitulates.

    Pretty sure Emery will be playing it safe for this game, i.e. anyone anywhere near an injury won't play. Can even see Chambers start.

    We can say what a weak team at set pieces, what a weak team at going 2-0 up, but you have to know that is exactly what Unai sees, and is why we go for 2 or 3 nil, we are lacking the beautiful forehead of mings and there is only one way to compensate.

    Sorry - yep agree. I suppose I’m in a state of agitation as I know we are now going to see a lot of denial and disowning of this result by Labour. And most likely be told good patriotic Labour voters didn’t turn out, whilst bad folks who protest against Israel voted.

    Do we think Labour were winning that if their candidate hadn’t been antisemitic? It looks like a strong win for an opportunist candidate campaigning on a single issue strongly in step with a majority of constituents. Labour will surely be relaxed but it does show they will lose votes on the issue of Gaza.

    Our form has been on an upward curve for a few games now and I don't see the players capitulating at Luton, they can taste top 4 now, are well into their stride and will be giving their all. Bailey to bag a couple I think.

    He's only 3 goals behind Haaland, it's feasible he could overtake him at some point.
