It's a good shout Mike, but I decided to restrict myself to squad number era only. Otherwise I'd have run out at day 14! Today's window is a personal favourite of mine. As Villa fans we seem to have a natural affinity to strikers and central defenders, those being positions where we've had the most talent. For cult heroes though, it's hard to see past one of the sweatiest players to wear the shirt. A man who never gave in, would sweat blood for the badge, and sadly succumbed to that awful injury. Your advent number 3 is Freddie Bouma - Honourable mentions to Steve Staunton and Alan Wright. Dishonourable mention to Joe Bennett, who was always willing but just couldn't live up to his predecessors in the number 3 shirt.

Today is window number 2, and it was a fairly tough one. We've not had a great list of right backs in recent years, but in the 90s and mid-00s we had some good players on that flank. Despite a strong case from Earl Barrett, today for me had to be - Today's honourable mentions are Earl Barrett and Gary Charles. Dishonourable mention for Tiago Ilori.

I'm starting a day late here, but kicked this off on Twitter yesterday. Every day I'll choose a favourite player with the squad number who matches that date. Not looking forward to numbers 5 and 10, as they're simple choices but mean leaving out a couple of my other favourites. Anyway, window number 1 had to be - Honourable mentions also to David James and Brad Friedel. Keep an eye out for more goalkeepers in the later numbers! Dishonourable mention for Peter Enckelman.

Two of my list are in their 90s, one is an 86 year old convict, one's tried to commit suicide twice, and the other was an absolute "celebrity" mess this time last year. Generally I'm relatively tech savvy, but I'm out of my depth here. I use a MacBook Pro, and keep all my music on an external hard drive which I wire into when sitting at my desk. I've got a Virgin Media Superhub 3, and am wondering if I'd be able to connect the external hard drive to it and use it as a wireless hard drive. Is the right terminology a NAS? Main reason I'm asking is that I want to set up a Plex Media Server, and think that having all my media on a hard drive attached to the Superhub might enable me to effectively have my own network. Or am I talking codswallop?

We've now equalled the 7 games unbeaten under O'Neill in 2009/10. That run, however, was 5 wins and 2 defeats, whereas this one is 4 and 3. The best run before that was 15th November 2008 until 21st February 2009 when we were unbeaten in 13 league games, winning 9 and drawing 4.

I was going to start a thread asking for some help with double glazing, as my parents need a full set of new windows installing at their house in Kidderminster so thought I'd check on VT and see if anyone was in that line of work. Then, I figured I can't be the only one who would like to keep local Villa-supported firms in business so decided this could be VT's answer to Checkatrade.
