It wasn't quite that long ago! Although our goals were scored by Clark and Hutton. Strangely it was also the last time we went 5 unbeaten, coming from behind to win being the 5th match in that series. We lost the next one away at West Brom. I've no idea the last time we went 6 without losing. That must have been under John Gregory.

First time we've won a league game from a losing position since the home match against Leicester in December 2014.

The FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool in April 2015. In the league you're going back to December 2014 when we came from behind to beat Leicester 2-1 with goals from Ciaran Clark and Alan Hutton.

You're right. That is the point I was trying to make. Sometimes it's a case of being in the right team, and with the right mix of players around you. Westwood looked really neat and tidy when we first brought him, but he's clearly suffering from a lack of confidence. Some people suggested Delph was the worst player to ever wear a Villa shirt a couple of years ago, but most of us would have him back in a heartbeat now.

Out of those three Barry was the only one who was pretty much unanimously rated when he was at Villa. Davis did ok but we didn't seem to miss him when he left, and people were pretty divided on Delph right up to the day he left.

How would you rate him compared to some of our previously departed PL midfielders - Barry, Delph, Davis?

I think this is the important bit. He's not going to be the engine in the midfield. He needs to be able to drift about. Both he and Jedi benefit from someone more dynamic alongside them.
