I think that's as good as we could've expected tonight.
We got the chance to see (quite a few of) the kids, our second choice keeper gave himself a shout of being first choice, a striker in need of a goal got one, a few players made their first appearance for a long time, and a young lad (two including Onomah) showed he might have a bright future and an impact on our season.
With the weather it was always going to be tough to see any sort of slick passing or running with the ball, and despite Steer making some cracking saves I never really felt like there was a spell that we were under pressure.
The right result, lots of positives, and we'll have learned a few things too. Nice.
