  1. I was on the fence at the start of the season, but I've just hopped off it. Steve Bruce is on the other side to me.
  2. And the award for the most blatant penalty of the year goes to...
  3. Gabby coming on to save Bruce's bacon? They both love bacon.
  4. All that money spent on Hogan who appears to be made of pink wafer biscuits and, on the rare occasions he's fit, doesn't suit our "system".
  5. Ball punted up to Hogan who, even if by some miracle he wins the header, has nobody within a 20 yard radius of him. Absolutely bonkers.
  6. It's back... Thankfully I've made contact with my pre-Canada counsellor who helped get me mentally prepared for the move. She's not available until mid-September though, but I've got myself booked in. I shouldn't still be having these sorts of spells. That said, I've been ill for a few days so I've not been sleeping and I'm always prone to low mood when I'm knackered. Oh well, see you on the other side. I'm going in!
  7. This is where having less teams would help as there would naturally be spare players available. Although not being able to trade at all seems like a big miss.
  8. Yeah yeah, I know it says moderation rather than moderator...
  9. I guessed you hadn't and it'd be a coincidence. I'd seen it before, but years ago when he was at Leicester. And there's a quote in there, so no points for me! You can have one for questioning a moderator though
  10. I think that's as good as we could've expected tonight. We got the chance to see (quite a few of) the kids, our second choice keeper gave himself a shout of being first choice, a striker in need of a goal got one, a few players made their first appearance for a long time, and a young lad (two including Onomah) showed he might have a bright future and an impact on our season. With the weather it was always going to be tough to see any sort of slick passing or running with the ball, and despite Steer making some cracking saves I never really felt like there was a spell that we were under pressure. The right result, lots of positives, and we'll have learned a few things too. Nice.
  11. He's the deep lying midfielder today, as Onomah is pushing forward more.
  12. There's no way these 11 players are on the field at the same time in a league match.
