I'd of liked us to of got in some cover for left side of defence but I'm kind of happy Bruce didn't get to sign anymore players. Might as well give a youth player a chance if needed while we hover in midtable until Bruce is sacked

I wasn't surprised to see him change the whole set up after we scored 8 goals in 2 games because he's an idiot. Why start with 3 centre backs? Like seriously? Just put the same team out that played Norwich except Hutton and take the game to the mighty Bristol city. He's a complete bottler and his over cautious approach cost us again last night. Get rid!!

As well as being pure class with the ball, his work off the ball and tackling is quality. I Really enjoy watching him play and can see him getting better.

I thought he played well tonight, broke up a lot of play and his passing was good. Does a lot of the donkey work that goes unnoticed so he'll inevitably be hated at Villa but his stats for tonight were 3 tackles, 3 interceptions, 5 successful long passes from 8 attempted and 53 total passes with a 93% pass completion.

I reckon Bruce is going to sell Albert, I hope I'm wrong but I dont think he rates him and has brought in 2 players that play in his position.

Ye we had chances but we also let Norwich back into the game and need to control games better, twice we let a 2 goal lead slip.

I'm not saying that it was all down to Davis or that it was pure luck but all I'm saying is we didn't control the game and we nearly threw it away by letting Norwich back into it twice, their was a goal line scramble and a header from a corner, either of those could of went in and made it 3-3. Hopefully Bruce will start setting us up to score goals as well as keep it tight at the back, then he can start having a go at the fans who have being rightly pissed off at him for the shite hes served up.

We certainly didn't play well all over the pitch as it could easily of went 3-3 only for bad finishing by Norwich, fact is we let them back into the game when we should of controlled the game better at 2-0 and again at 3-1. Time will tell if Bruce has all of a sudden turned things around.

Well theres a great result for him to build on now so no excuses, our players have proved they arent at fault and can create chances so its upto the manager now to get the best out of them and not hold them back!

Wow so Bruce is full of excuses and puts down the team to randoms he meets at a cricket match. What a low life and shit leader he is, wonder did he point out any of his faults and how he has failed in his job. Get rid of this pleb today ffs He's whining about the performance at Cardiff and yet 8 of the starting line up were his signings plus Gabby, Hutton and Chester. So Bruce can't get a performance out of his own side but he does what he seems to do best and deflects the blame. He's a chancer and a bottler...

We have won 5 and drawn 1 out of our last 6 home games vs Norwich so this is as good a game as Bruce could hope for, add to that they have a new manager who's only had 4 games in English football compared to Bruces 100's and theres no excuse for not taking the game to them.

The big difference between Lambert and Bruces time at Villa is that Lambert had the life drained out of him by a shit owner who never loosened the purse and hung him out to dry whereas Bruce has had every chance to be successful but ultimately he is a bottler and a shit manager.

Dean Smith for me. I've only seen Brentford play live against us last season when they destroyed us but have been looking at stats from the first 3 games of the season and they average 19 shots per game and are 3rd for possession in the league. I'd like to see him given a shot as he sets up to outplay teams and would know how to use Hogan. It would be a bonus if he could bring his mate Jota

Thought he looked good when we had a go and it was a nice assist.

Class goal, gave the goalie no chance. Another who looked a different player when he was allowed past the half way line for the last 20 minutes.

Thought he did ok when things started opening up after we pushed more players forward. He was basically 1vs3 defenders for the first 70 minutes of the match.

looked dangerous when he was allowed attack and get in the box but was terrible for most of the game when expected to sit deep.
