@ con. in your second picture lowton was right to take that position as the cross came from the far side. its the CMF that should be picking up the likes of cabaye and getting a block in when our defence gets pushed back. the first picture was bad marking by baker. bennet is marking there winger. theres no excuse for baker not preventing that through ball by being tighter to cisse. it was schoolboy defending. again our defence wasnt helped by our midfield

yeah its nothing to do with alot of the players being shite and not taking responsibility... players get away with so much while the manager takes all the criticism. he basically just toldit how it is. he plays 3 CBs in the hope it will make us harder to beat but our young CBs are crap at this stage. we wouldnt be able to play like we did in the secondhalf every game. no team could, you would end up with countless injuries and suspensions. our squad is shit especially in defence

Its ok having 23m to spend when you can give players decent wages but when your restricted to having to get players in on shit wages then it obviously makea a big difference. the biggest mistake lambert made was taking this job in the first place.

newcastle got 1 decent chance in first half and scored a cracker. we hit the post and then mauled them second half. the main thing that keeps costing us is our lack of another decent CB and a proper midfielder that breaks up play. blame the manager all ye want and he isnt blameless but he needs proper backing to bring in the players we need

we did everything but equalise and showed the fighting spirit thats required to stay up so hopefully we can build on that. fair play to the manager for getting a reaction from the players. needs to carry it into the next game

there is a wage structure at the club that prevents the manager from signing any real quality experienced players. wake up and see it for what it is. blame the board and owner. lambert was a fool to take the job in the first place. you sign young inexperience and when things go bad they dont know how to get out of it

So lambert should of spent his money on better players? better players means bigger wages and the manager has to work under a shitty wage restriction so he not only had to spread the outlay on transfer fees but also had to keep within a wage structure so if you look at his signings they all would be on probably 25k at the most. what top players will accept that? he wanted to sign stephens for midfield but was priced out, cus the board wouldnt stump up. some ppl seem to think lambert makes all the decisions to do with the club but if hes being told he can only play bent in a certain amount of matches then im sure hes been givin other unfair restrictions from up above. wake up and see the bigger picture, whoever the manager is he will be hung out to dry by the powers above. Lambert is the only manager that has made signings that will turn a profit. Houllier got bent who will return a loss but makes up for it in keeping us up and consistantly scoring, makoun has been a disaster. Mcleish signed given,hutton and zogbia for 20m and we will be lucky to make 5m back off them. at least lamberts signings show promise and givin the right backing Ive confidence he would sign good players as well as good investments. the board are the clowns that put them managers in place and sanctioned the deals... they even signed ireland all by themselves. **** joke
