He is a young player thrown in at the deep end and is basically another victim of how our club has been decimated by the owner.

He is probably pissed off cus he actually bothered his arse trying today and we didn't win. Doesn't excuse the last 10 or so games when he has barely broke a sweat. I wouldn't be too sad to see him gone at the end of the season.

He set us up well today and we really took the game to Swansea. We were playing some really neat and tidy stuff but were let down by individual mistakes and got done in the latter part of the second half as we tried to push on for the equaliser. I was pleased by the performance for the first 60 or so minutes. If we play like that vs Hull we should hopefully get the win.

He did well when he came on, put in a really good cross and nearly got on the end of a cross to score. Also he was popping up in good positions on the wings and showed a good touch, certainly better than Wimann and Gabby.

Eh because we are likely to be taken over in the summer if we stay up. Pretty good reason imo.....

A win and a draw won't be enough, they need a minimum of 5 points because of their goal difference They are only 3 points behind us.

Fulham have to win away to Stoke and at home to Palace, Norwich have to get a win and a draw from Utd away,Chelsea away and Arsenal at home.

We actually played good for most of the game when you consider the squad we are left with after injuries and the manager set us up well but we were let down by terrible defending on all of the goals. Shane long MOTM

The man deserves a better crack at it here, all his expensive signings have been a success bar maybe Okore who got injured too early but it's clear to see the potential the guy has. He obviously has a good eye for a player as we were in for Bony before we signed Benteke. Lambert was a manager who was constantly on the way up. He did wonders at Norwich by getting them promoted in successive seasons and then keeping them in the prem before joining us. Since he came here he has had to face some challenges that he never would of before and without question he has struggled and made mistakes. Last season he constantly sent us out trying to win every game which is how his teams play, then this season he tried to make us better defensively to avoid our young inexperienced team being ripped apart by more experienced prem teams and it has worked to a certain degrree. Imo Lambert will have learned more in this season than any previous in his career and I believe he has the character to become a better manager for it. If he was actually backed like a prem manger and not a division 1 manager from the beginning then I believe we would be top 8 and playing great attacking football.

So Mcleish was able to bring in 3 players on approx 140,000 per week wages in 1 transfer window but people are claiming that he was held back by finances similar to Lambert?? Mcleish took over a squad full of experienced players and was given transfer funds to sign 3 more experienced players(none have worked out) and he played crap football every week! Lambert has been restricted into signing young unproven players on max 20,000 per week while been told to get the high earners out of the club. Their is no comparison between the two managers, Lambert has been restricted through his tenure as Villa manager and it's obviously affected him as a manager while Mcleish had every chance to make us better but was just a shit manager. Seriously comparing them two is like night and day! So many people just don't want to accept the bigger picture here or are just can't see it.

I don't think Gabby should ever be playing as a striker and his future is definitely as a winger. but he's a dreadful winger The only time he did anything decent was when he found himself on the left wing, he picked out Westwood for a chance and also had another cross near the end. He doesn't have the touch to play upfront but he has the attributes to play the wings.

Very nervy game and we rode our luck but imo that point is probably enough to see us safe, Either Cardiff or Fulham will have to win 2 out of 3 to go above us, Norwich will have to at least get a win and a draw out of their 4 hard fixtures. If we mange a draw in any of our last 4 then we are 99% safe. Good performance from Albrighton today, Bertrand played well and Vlaar made some important interceptions. Bacuna got destroyed down the right, everything good they did came down that wing. Albrighton MOTM.

I'd like to see Delph try and have a dribble and take a few players on but as soon as he gets it he just gets rid asap. Obviously he isn't playing with much confidence or belief atm
