Nah, the bloke is an absolute helmet and I'm delighted he's gone. He threw the players under the bus when things didn't go his way. It was never about Aston Villa for him. It was about Tim Sherwood. It speaks multitudes that he turned down two PL jobs before coming to Villa. In truth, the bloke has no right to any PL job. He should learn his trade like any other manager. Sorry, I just think this thread now is really awful. Whatever anyone thinks of The Manager, he is still at present our Manager. I think the personal abuse being dished out is just awful. We will see how long it takes for the thread on the next manager whoever it may be, to turn the same way. The problem is at the top and will not change until there is a change there

I am surprised at some on here who stuck up for Lambert on the grounds that the problem lies with Lerner and yet now scream for Sherwood out. Surely the problem remains whilst there is no change at the top .

Tim just can't do any right for some people let's face it. Anyway, I thought it a bit odd that he just seemed to go more or less straight down the tunnel at the end of the game .

Was annoyed at not being allowed to go along the road to get to my car at The Yew Tree for ages - the Blooz fans had to be let out first - and yet when we go to the Sty (or Albion) it is US the away fans that get penned in (at Blooz) and diverted for miles at Albion (and Wolves) - so why was it the Home fans who were inconvenienced this time?

It's pretty clear that Tim divides opinions on here - some people decided, as soon as he was appointed, that they weren't going to like him . It's almost as if certain people would love to see him fail. I think he's great. He has so much personality and charisma. I don't find it to be "cockiness" at all - he is just what we need right now . I do have great respect for the posters on here who admitted that they didn't want him and weren't happy but now say that they have changed their minds. That's fair enough. Others, just seem to have their own Agenda. Last night's game was so exciting - the best entertainment we've had for a while - all of us around me said the same. I now skip through posts using the words "tactically naive" "tactics Tim" "cocky" etc. Strange though that, at Villa Park itself, and away grounds, the fans there seem to be right behind him in the main. He is learning yes, but he can grow and Villa can grow again with him. I would also think that all decisions aren't just down to Tim alone. He is bound to consult with Ray Wilkins and the others. For me, it's very much a case of "Tim Sherwood's Claret and Blue Army" - onwards and upwards

Has something happened with Villa and Free Radio, I tuned in at 5.20 and until the end at 6 all i heard was BCFC. I know it is biased towards them but this was just as if they werent able to talk about us or something.Anyone know ???
