  1. Argument at moment seems to be if they end season your relegated but they will allow play offs to happen for promotion ...
  2. Exactly it was always designed in a way to keep those already at the top , at the top.Notice all the clubs who seem to have issues with FFP are ones with new owners ....
  3. Belive they did , the point is FFP says owners can't put money in and you can't spend above earnings yet United can continually run with a massive growing debt whilst spending huge amounts on players its a joke.
  4. EFL confirm Relegation from all 3 leagues will go ahead even if season not finished https://www.efl.com/news/2020/may/efl-statement-coronavirus-update2
  5. Man United announce net debt rose £127 mil to £429mil yet still linked with big moves for Grealish /Sancho , further evidence that FFP is a load of bollox
  6. Yeah I can live with that when we play them
  7. I went for a walk in the Park yesterday was just like a normal hot day , big group of people playing cricket with people sat watching.Groups of people with tables and chairs sat drinking. Shop wise the small Tesco's have signs up for distancing but no people manning the door counting who goes in and offering hand sanitiser
  8. Withe the 5 subs now it will almost be like preseason so teams with nothing to play for like Liverpool will act like preseason , start game with one team then sub half off in 2nd half , so then you get situation where fh you get the first team 2nd half the kids.. I've read Italy might have a transfer window as clubs need to sort out accounts for the year in June so need a window to sell to balance books.
  9. Not all allowed in at same time so McGinn might be in today Matt Ritchies has described training with the ball as ''disguised running'' training at moment amounts to running drills and dribbling a ball around obstacle's
  10. Issues with Sticky Balls.... https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/11671197/premier-league-sticky-balls-training-players-coronavirus/?utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=sunfootballtwitter&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1590009870
  11. I'll take PPG with no relegation and expansion of the top league as per the options listed
  12. His deal should be up June 1 st , wonder if we will keep him on. With everyone having to get back to fitness he will be on level playing field , he wasn't great but a better option than Lansbury on the bench
  13. Of the 6 tested positive at least 2 of them Woan and Marriappa have no symptoms https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/may/20/watford-reveal-one-player-and-two-staff-tested-positive-for-coronavirus-premier-league Not sure it will die out , I think it likely be seasonal the issue is other than a vaccine how people are identified at risk and is there treatments that can be used to clear it up once you have it.
  14. Given we are playing Chelsea next good chance we will lose ...
  15. Problem with that is our first game is Chelsea who had Kante and Abraham injured but now fit , so yes McGinn back is a bonus for us but other teams will get the same boost. On Watford as good as deeney is for them Sarr is the one you would want to be missing for them
  16. Watford 3 positives 1 Player 2 staff , Some players decided against training tomorrow
  17. Burnley Assistant Manager Ian Woan is one of the 6 who tested positive
  18. Scudamore I would have throught Even so I don't get out when they are getting every game live now they are stilled owed so much. You would have to think after this the PL and indeed the clubs will be pushing for a new TV structure by running it themselves.
  19. Apparantly already discussed that the PL want the teams with games in hand to play them ASAP incase of another league stoppage
  20. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/05/19/broadcasters-due-36m-rebates-every-week-premier-league-extends/ £330 mil rebate already plus 39 mil for every week beyond July 16th , I wonder how this factors into parachute payments
  21. Left out Shef United I'd be looking to take points at Liverpool who should be champs by then Interesting side note is Man City's case against UEFA is being herd Jun 8-10 if they win then that limits champs league to 2 places which gives teams in that fight less to go for.
  22. Quite right but the argument was a manager can't change anything in 9 games , at this point someone coming in and getting 4 wins and a draw from 5 would make us safe It's the good old fashioned new manager bounce and yes i'd take anyone ever short term to change our destiny at this point.
  23. Not PL but related to Covid-19 Malaga have terminated contracts of all staff https://www.malagacf.com/en/news/malaga-cf-statement-9
  24. Nigel Pearson with his 4 wins 1 draw and 1 loss in first 6 games says Hi
