I agree, i think he could benefit from a few games on the sidelines. he's the kind of guy who would work his socks off to get back in, and right now he needs to work a quite a few aspects of his game. I sort of agree as well as Gabby being dropped as well. The problem is we cant drop them as we have very litlle quality/experience to replace either of them. We are staying in the prem on the cheap every season and i dont expect anything improving drastically when lerner doesnt leave, start to spend again

I would love to see someone else taking the corners. But if Lambert cant grant me that wish for goodness sake tell Westwood to put it in with a bit of pace. Every corner this bullsh1t old lobbed passes into the box. I get so annoyed everytime. You cannot beat a pace on a corner, if it doesnt find its intented target it can still end up in the back of the net.

I know he is on loan but i think that was a big mistake. Lambert took a big gamble on a middlesboro left back last year who hadnt shown the quality grealish has done. Middlesboro fans couldnt believe we went in for him. But back to my point, lambert took bigger gambles last year with championship players and wasnt willing to take this gamble? Utd werent scared to take a chance on an 18 year old and look how that turned out. -

We do not have the quality in the middle of the pitch to play 4-4-2 I think Delph and Syilla in the middle would be okay maybe in a 4-4-1-1. Was a massive mistake not to get in an ACM in the summer.

Whats wrong with playing 2 strikers? 4-4-2. The system we play with the players we have at our disposal will neve create much flair.

While i think he should be dropped for a few games to get his form back, Ii think people are get frustrated at the lack of flair/creativity that the team has. Weinman is playing on the wing but he lacks flair a position where you would normally associate with creativity. His pace has pulled him out allot over the last year. Also keep in mind if we add flair to the team then it will probably reduce work ethic.

Kozak is living off scraps and its difficult to shine when that is the case. He would have had to have been 40ft tall for some of Westwoods corners yesterday. Bentekke scored goals of scraps yes, but made allot of them himself. Yet in Bentekkes case we are talking about an exceptional player of the 40mill caliber

The problem with Westwood/KEA/Delph is that all three offer the exact same thing tactically and as a team we can’t accommodate that. They all do the basic stuff and pass 10 yards, break up the play to an extent but no flair going forward.

I see on twitter he annoced he was starting tomorrow. Then 1hr or so later he said he was stupid and someone needed to take the phone off him. Wonder if Lambert wont start him now as he was stupid and told the world on twitter

If Bennett is to have any future at Villa he needs to put on 2-3 stone. He is handy with ball at feet. As i said before Drogba sh1tes the size of Bennetts for breakfast.

Just Watch him play well for them. Hughes knows how to work him. Was never his ability that i questioned, just never showed it for us and was a piece of sh1t. Id hope they pay all his wages, at end of day we're compete with them so they cant get it cheap

We wont be loaning anyone, well on big wages anyway. Last year Faulkner or Lambert said that Lerner was now totally opposed to paying a players wages of another premiership club. Jenas/walkers loans may have hurt a bit.

Ahead of who? If any of the front 3 are dropped to the bench, Tonev will be first man in line to step in El-hanadi. We will be more attacking at home this year than we are away from home.

I disagree, Kuyt was a very good footballer and scored loads of goals in Holland but when moved up a level he stopped scoring as many. When he moved to liverpool he was employed in the right wing as you mentioned and worked hard - same as Weinman. I see similarities in their striking and im not taking into consideration just 1 match, I’m thinking of last season. I just don’t think he will be a prolific goal scorer, seems to snatch/rush at chances same as Kuyt did when he was in premership. And Hence why he is out in the right wing for Villa.
