Christ no, Tonev did well in parts against Everton so I think he's worth another look in a home game. Gabby's usually a quick healer from injuries so hopefully he'll be back, if not I'd rather give Helenius a start. There's a two week break after Cardiff so Weimann might only miss a game or two. At least thats all he will be missing. 2 misses in 3 weeks isnt bad for him

Yes all Midfielders three look for the easy pass. At times you have to take a chance and standup and be counted. Maybe its a confidence thing and they dont want to be the one who looses the ball. Or it could be something that Lambert has drilled into them in which case we are never going to be much good at home. Keeping it simple is fine away from home.

Time afte time teams ran through us and the only time it seemed to stop was when Sylia was put in there. People try and defend Westwood saying that he sits in front of the back 4 and protects them. Giving the amount of goals we conceed he doesnt do that very well either. It appears Westwood is a jack of some trades and master of none, which isnt permership quality IMO. How many goals have we conceded this season? 12 or 1.33 a game. 69 or 1.81 a game last season when westwood played most games.

Maybe it is that he isnt any good at going forward and it is reflected in his ability as a player. Yes, Brad Guzan isn't any good at going forward either. By your logic he must be lacking ability as well. That’s just a ridiculous argument and I don’t even know why im replying . Brad is a goalkeeper, not a midfielder and the last I saw midfielders can go forward where keepers cant.

Swing and a miss. Someone who pulls the strings from midfield and who passes it forwards as has been proven by the previous graphic is not required to be in the final third as often. That's the job of the more attacking players. But nice attempt to move the goalposts rather than concede even an inch on the original point :-) And there lies the problem. All three midfielders do the same job and pass 10 yards and none of them get forward into attacking positions.

Just give us a wee bit of flair. Even if its only 5 mins a game. We are starting to get really boring

Do u not think he should have been kept at villa and given a few starts because i think that. Kind of mate, I remember saying last season i would have liked to have seen him introduced but then again i suppose its just me being biused and eager for his moment. However jack's enjoying his loan spell and no doubt it has done him good by getting some first team action at a lower league club first. It also seems Lambert doesn't want to introduce new youngsters into a side that is already very inexperienced which i suppose is also a valid point as that could hinder his progress. He has also only just turned 18 so you could argue he has got a lot of time... but IMO it shouldnt matter how old he is, If your good enough then you should be given an opportunity. And if im entirely honest it can be quite frustrating going to villa's games nowadays seeing us lack a creative player. Jack wont score you many goals but he will create chances and as i say, I think thats what we need at VP. All in all, i respect anyones view on it, but i dont see how a few sub appearances can harm anyone. Couldnt have said it better. Really is so fustrating watching villa and knowing he is what we are crying out for. At this rate he will get a start for the republic before the villa first team. I wonder if thats ever happened before.

I dont think he does just yet. Surely if R Madrid can play Ramos in midfield we can play Lowton in Weinmans place

Again i agree, but who do we have of quality to replace these dropped players. The problem is our two wingers know this as well.

Not "obviously" at all . If anything the odds are against us ever challenging under this regime. Amazing how low expectations are now. When you say "we are bankrupt", firstly it is nothing to do with "we" and secondly RL is no longer part of the "we". His only interest now is finding a buyer. Why is our turnover only 9th and wage bill. Surely the club needs to be run better. Increase turnover. Also i believe the wage bill will be down significantly next accounts

I agree, i think he could benefit from a few games on the sidelines. he's the kind of guy who would work his socks off to get back in, and right now he needs to work a quite a few aspects of his game. I sort of agree as well as Gabby being dropped as well. The problem is we cant drop them as we have very litlle quality/experience to replace either of them. We are staying in the prem on the cheap every season and i dont expect anything improving drastically when lerner doesnt leave, start to spend again

I would love to see someone else taking the corners. But if Lambert cant grant me that wish for goodness sake tell Westwood to put it in with a bit of pace. Every corner this bullsh1t old lobbed passes into the box. I get so annoyed everytime. You cannot beat a pace on a corner, if it doesnt find its intented target it can still end up in the back of the net.

I know he is on loan but i think that was a big mistake. Lambert took a big gamble on a middlesboro left back last year who hadnt shown the quality grealish has done. Middlesboro fans couldnt believe we went in for him. But back to my point, lambert took bigger gambles last year with championship players and wasnt willing to take this gamble? Utd werent scared to take a chance on an 18 year old and look how that turned out.

100% agree. This great acadamey we have for few years, its about time there was more getting a chance in first team.

For what its worth, i think we will beat Everton.

We do not have the quality in the middle of the pitch to play 4-4-2 I think Delph and Syilla in the middle would be okay maybe in a 4-4-1-1. Was a massive mistake not to get in an ACM in the summer.

Whats wrong with playing 2 strikers? 4-4-2. The system we play with the players we have at our disposal will neve create much flair.

While i think he should be dropped for a few games to get his form back, Ii think people are get frustrated at the lack of flair/creativity that the team has. Weinman is playing on the wing but he lacks flair a position where you would normally associate with creativity. His pace has pulled him out allot over the last year. Also keep in mind if we add flair to the team then it will probably reduce work ethic.

Kozak is living off scraps and its difficult to shine when that is the case. He would have had to have been 40ft tall for some of Westwoods corners yesterday. Bentekke scored goals of scraps yes, but made allot of them himself. Yet in Bentekkes case we are talking about an exceptional player of the 40mill caliber
