Really good performance overall. A slight period of nervousness after the break, when they scored but I think the most pleasing thing for me was the resilience to see that period out, get the goal to restore the 2 goal cushion and then re-assert our control back on the game. Cash, Diego, Luiz, Kamara all superb, but McGinn MOTM for me.

Funnily enough, I've watched most of the matches at this tournament and I think it's been at quite a good standard with plenty of entertaining matches.

On a general note, this world cup has been a massive success for organisers in terms of crowd numbers and entertainment. There might have been some concerns about staging it in a traditionally "non-football" country but many of the games have been sold out with brilliant atmospheres, even for non-host country matches. They've done really well to attract all the various migrant communities we have here and get them through the gates.
