Genuine question, is our expectations just too high for managers and players to cope with. We can't be that laughably shit the past few years. Villa just seem like a poison chalice, whether you're the manager or one of the players. How we manage to turn bright exciting players into the shower of shit that we see is just crazy. It got me thinking about some of our ex players. Take Jonathan Hogg, how ordinary was he but put him in a different team and he excels. Dunno what it is, if it's simple as getting rid of Bruce but there's just something inherently wrong with our club.

Unfortunately just holding play up doesn't quite cut it, especially considering this is a lower league with lower quality. Needs to be benched asap, feel sorry for him as there's a huge burden on his shoulders

Pathetic! Playing Suliman doesn't look such a bad idea now. Playing Jedinak when you have Elphick and Suliman to call on is just stupidity. Bruce should be sacked for this

Just from what ive watched when he plays in the under 23s, he seems to be a very good CB in the making. Elphick from recollection was pretty woeful Really want to see our youth given a chance to assist the depleted squad. Think Sulaiman, rhm, McKirdy, JDH, O'hare can all help the team. I think they'll play with no fear and will contribute, even if is cameo roles off the bench
