  1. Lol that was stupid from Wolves. They could have just let the ball go for a goalkick.
  2. Even those 2 clubs are too big for him. He shouldn't be a Premier League manager full stop. In fact, he should retire all together. One of the most negative managers in the world who doesn't even get the team to play football. No football fan deserves that.
  3. Yeah, how can you go from 9th to relegation. That's a huge gap. McLeish wasn't even a tactical genius when he was at his peak in the Premier League. It was down to Joe Hart saving them alot. And even then they were only scrapped wins.
  4. Yeah but like I said the statistics prove McLeish is a bad manager in the league at least. The goal ratio per game is extremely low and fails to pick up many wins. And it's been exactly the same at this club. We haven't even seen his worst side yet. He becomes awful in the second half of the season as opposed to his mediocrity (at best) in the first half. I would take 17th right now than risk him managing us for the second half in the hope of finishing higher. It's a fact that he's useless in the Premier League (with his 2 PL relegations and even spent over 30m - more than Wigan and Wolves) that's why there were strong protests before he became manager. Now it boils down to insecurity issues. They can delude themselves all they like but it's a fact he ISN'T doing a good job unless their standards have dropped so much they've forgotten who we are. We're not SHA, we're Aston Villa. They should remember that.
  5. Haha as if the defence can keep a clean sheet away. They'll **** it up somehow.
  6. Anyone else find it funny that we bought him from Leeds for millions, he does next to **** all (2 years and a half) and now we're loaning him back to Leeds?
  7. It's been over 7 months and I still can't get my head around this guy as our manager. I've been reading the H&V site abit and what a bunch of happy clappers. There's quite a few who are making excuses for him despite the statistics proving why he has relegations. Some take it further by thinking he's doing a good job. :|
  8. I don't really see it as good news until they're dead. And don't forget the European version (ACTA) still hidden in the shadows.
  9. The thing I like most with Swansea is their movement. Sometimes they would run over the left shoulder and then go to the right. They will always be there to collect the ball in good positions. McLeish prefers us playing like statues. He's awesome.
  10. Even at 3-2 up against Arsenal they're still keeping the ball on the ground and trying to attack. We just sat back near the end of the Arsenal game (McLeish was literally telling them to move back, even Gabby) and lost 1-2 with no hope of gettin back. Yet fans treated it like we won. Something dodgy is going on here. It seems like McLeish has brainwashed some fans thinking we're a League 1 club. Unacceptable standards.
  11. Have you noticed as well when he makes massive mistakes he'll fake injuries now? He did it again yesterday when he nearly scored an own goal. He would have been finished if that went in.
  12. A little overpriced? I wouldn't want him if he was free. But 8 million is vomit worthy.
  13. It's no wonder he couldn't be arsed last year. He must have thought why am I playing with these bunch of talentless rubbish? Why am I at a club that's not mounting to anything? Being ditched by Man City must have hit him hard. But it's obvious now he's trying to save his career. Let's hope he does enough because we know McLeish and his circus defence won't do **** at all. At best, a 1 yard pass success.
  14. where did i say or imply that at all? im saying that moyes isn't a particularly good manager i dont get this why is he held up in such high regard? everton fans are getting sick of him, they list plenty of major issues with him, which are fairly apparent. for all his alleged talents, he's a point ahead of a villa team that plenty on here reckon are relegation fodder with the worst manager in the league. how does that make moyes a good manager? Cos it's a miracle he has kept Everton up in the Premier League for so long considering their resources. Unlike the ginger prat who failed not once, but twice. Moyes has proven he can keep his club up in the Premier League and normally finishes them top 10 every season. McLeish has failed miserably. He has less than a 25% win record and you're defending them? There's just no line with you is there? And what the **** are you going on about with this McLeish getting a point out of Moyes? So when Ferguson lost against Blackburn, that means Steve Kean is just as good as him?
  15. Attendence is 31,853. I would be worried if I was the board. It's gonna get even worse if he is here next season.
  16. where did i say or imply that at all? im saying that moyes isn't a particularly good manager
  17. I'll be pissed off if Albrighton is dropped the next game. Okay, he didn't have the best of games, but he still set up Ireland who linked up Bent. But Warnock and Hutton made so many **** mistakes it was unbeliveable. And they couldn't cross at all. Those **** waste of spaces should be dropped. They're old enough and we know they're not good enough. I bet our **** ginger relegation manager was happy with a draw victory to end the home defeats in a row. If he picks Warnock and Hutton, but drops Albrighton (who can get better seeing as he's still young) then he is a piece of dogshit.
  18. Warnock and Hutton should never wear a Villa shirt again.
  19. Close again from Everton. Given >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> our shit defence.
  20. McLeish will be glad to see a rare 0-0 HT result at Villa Park. What an sick excuse of a manager.
  21. Darren Bent is having a shit game I agree. But honestly, Hutton and Warnock. **** dross. At least Warnock, Dunne and Collins were mostly good with good under a different management. McLeish comes in, buys Hutton and they're all **** awful.
