  1. Erm yes you can. Yes...we all know you can, but any sensible person can see that our players are just terrible footballers Who picks them? Who bought Hutton? Who are the ones who cant even string 2 passes together. Yup, the players. Mate they've been like this for a while, but McLeish still picks them.
  2. Shame Collins can't head the ball like that when he has to defend the corners. Ginger prick.
  3. Erm yes you can. Yes...we all know you can, but any sensible person can see that our players are just terrible footballers Who picks them? Who bought Hutton?
  4. McLeish bought a fullback called that shitbag Hutton. Would you trust him with the funds again?
  5. This is a **** joke. Everton have come close of nearly scoring 4 times.
  6. How McLeish sees satisfactory progress: Shot off target - Goal Shot on target - Cup Final Goal - Premier League win A win - Quadruple
  7. Dunne, Collins, Warnock and Hutton. No matter how many mistakes they make, no matter how shit they are, they somehow worm their way back to the first team and it's all thanks to our relegation manager. There should be no way to lose this. We're at home, we have our best team out, we've had a week rest as opposed to Everton who are away, have injuries on key players and haven't had a proper rest. NO EXCUSES
  8. Bent being sold to QPR would be much worse than Liverpool. I mean seriously, how embarassing would it be to lose one of our best assets to a promotional club? It's bad enough we have one of the worst managers in the league.
  9. We better not lose. That would be 5 defeats at home in a row and it would be **** outrageous.
  10. So let's get this straight.... Sunderland - Bruce sacked, MON hired within days during the season. QPR - Warnock sacked, Hughes hired within days during the season. Villa - Houllier compensated, McLeish hired/compensated and it took weeks during where there was no football playing. The board will be the death of us.
  11. You would at least expect some good brand considering we've been in the Premier League since it's birth. :?
  12. I have a strange taste with these open worlds. I loved Morrowind, hated Oblivion, Fallout 3 was meh, enjoyed Fallout New Vegas and found Skyrim the best out of the lot. The one thing I thought this game lacked was the dialouge. Too linear. It was very fun in New Vegas where there were different outcomes. This game is the best RPG I've played. Probably until Diablo III.
  13. Exactly, I know they wanted to sell him. But it's the fact they're making out they didn't want to sell him. Just like Bent right now. I have no idea why Randy can't be straight with us and say he's been affected financially. We've got people like Faulkner still trying to feed us BS stories about how our aim is the European spot. No it isn't. We're not fools. We've followed the game more than those bunch of frauds and it's bleeding obvious we're settling for survival in the PL so Randy can pick up his Sky cheques every season.
  14. Randy has got to be the worst owner at making appointments. Every single one he has hired has been compensated down the line. In his NFL club he hired someone called Eric Mangini and that was like an Alex McLeish appointment where it made no logical sense. He was sacked from another NFL team for doing a really bad job and within a week Randy hired him that caused a major uproar amoungst the fans and the media were stunned. Oh, and guess what? He did a bad job there as predicted and Randy had to compensate him about 8 milion dollars. Honestly, I think Randy is just trolling for the sake of it. He feeds off the fans reactions. That's about the light worthy excuse I can make for him.
  15. Difference is though, Downing put a transfer request in. Bent has not. The club didn't want to sell Downing. Downing put in a transfer request. He was sold. The board will do it again if Bent puts in a transfer request. There's still time yet. It's also funny how they don't want to sell players, but they want to reduce the wage bill dramatically and refuse to put all the money they back to the team. How does that work? If they didn't want to sell Young, Downing etc how would they cope finanically with all these restrictions? Nah, I think greed will get the better of them. It always does.
  16. Cheap and nasty. Pretty much the boards ethos at this club now.
  17. They didn't want to sell Downing either. But he was sold anyway.
  18. It's going to be Hughes isn't it? Another club to watch out for.
  19. We won't be going this season because the 3 teams at the bottom are doing extremely poorly. If this was like last season then it would be worrying and I don't doubt a season like that will come again. But in the meantime we'll see McLeish building here and he'll do a lousy job at that like he did at SHA and Rangers. It's like MON's legacy, but worse. Also, it's the manager's job to make us solid against set pieces. They weren't this bad under MON.
  20. This isn't a knee jerk reaction. He's been with us for half of a season and he has a 25% win record. He's spent 13 million on Hutton and N'Zogbia so he can't use the money wisely. Hutton is just terrible all round and he hasn't got a clue on how to use N'Zogbia effectively (like Bent). The football has been all over the place and overall hasn't been pleasent to watch. 4 defeats at home in a row. Not good enough at any level The people who defend him are just being optimistic for the sake of it. Sure, it's good to see the glass half full, but it has to be within reason. There's just no defending him at the moment. This outcome was completely predictable. He just isn't good enough at this level and he'll take us down if he has time to build here.
