  1. McLeish is really holding this team back. You could tell yesterday they were instructed just to sit back and not try to let in a goal. It's obvious he fears of us being behind first. But it's impossible with this defence. When we were 0-2 down, there was no other choice other than attack and it worked. Obviously the hostile reactions from the crowd got the team trying harder as well. The best form of defence is attack. The players have shown how good they are going forward once the shackles are off. If we played that from the start we would have won comfortably and I'm sure we would have won alot more games at home in the past if we were free from the start. The people who give credit to McLeish for yesterday haven't got a clue and in fact are disgraceful for not giving the players full credit because they are the ones who have shown what they could do once they're free to play attacking football. We have talented players in our side. We don't even need the defence that much cos we can be good on the ball if we're allowed to. We don't really need the defence for most of the game and a good job as well because we can't depend on those idiots. If it had stayed 0-0 throughout, we wouldn't have seen us playing this way. No way.
  2. He should try N'Zogbia at LB if Gabby comes back fit.
  3. Watch the replay. Warnock should have done better, but Dunne didn't help at all by missing the ball like an moron and blocking his view.
  4. I've heard many footballers say they don't want an arm around them they've scored an own goal, they just want to be left alone for a second and forget about it. Dunne's got enough experience to know how he must have felt I don't understand what you mean by him getting a free pass, because he walked away. Should he have stayed in the naughty corner with Warnock for a bit? Cos yesterday he was at fault for both goals (partly) yet the fans were taking their anger out on Warnock. Dunne just walked off where as Given went over to him. Dunne has been a disgrace in the Villa shirt for ages. Goes all the way back when he turned up overweight last season and then he's a drunken row (best not mention his nationality for the offended folk). He's also cost us quite a few goals this season as well yet he gets no abuse where as Hutton and Warnock do quite abit.
  5. I'm not the guy who's offended by every little thing. There's always people who generalise that English have horrible teeth just because they saw one English guy with yellow teeth or whatever. Does not bother me. Everyone has to find something offensive and it's bloody ridiculous. Hell, there's people in this thread who are offended that fans booed a millionaire who's costing the club points that equates to million of pounds from potenial league drops. You would think they're related to Warnock. He doesn't really give a shit about us. It's just a job to him and he'll retire in a few years time in his mansion while most of you will probably have to slave your ass off when you're near 70 to retire.
  6. Cos I see him as a stereotypical Irish guy.. Everytime I see him he looks pissed. He just annoys the hell out of me. I know not all Irish people are like that and I have good words to say about Given/Keane, I just don't like Dunne.
  7. He's better at crossing the ball on the floor than in the air. I still don't like him though. The tackles he makes are extremely reckless.
  8. It was valid for fans to get get extremely annoyed when Warnock scored an own goal like an idiot when there was no opponents near him. He did something similar at Everton, but thankfully it was possible for Given to save. This time it was impossible to save it. There was also the time when he gave away a silly pass at Swansea. Why should fans still remain silent? You lot are soft honestly if you think it's not warranted at this stage. He's not a baby anymore, he's 30 years of age earning millions of money and he's costing us goals alot now. Fans have the right to express their angry after paying money to watch him **** it up. But on the flip side, Dunne was a disgrace when he walked away when he was partly at fault as well. I don't see why he gets free passes. I do despise that fat drunken Irish idiot more than Warnock. When he makes a mistakes it's like he doesn't give a shit attitude.
  9. I didn't mean when he touched the ball. I meant when he scored an own goal and everyone got pissed off. That's when I thought it was justified. When we were 0-2 down, the overall atmosphere was very hostile and the team put in a better performance. I thought that helped.
  10. So the booing didn't help then when we were 0-2 down? Booing can be a good thing and it's a proven fact. Legitmate criticism leads to the team putting in a better shift. Look at Arsenal. They got booed by their fans 0-2 and won 3-2. It's better than being quiet. Cheers are the best, but who's gonna cheer at 0-2 down at home against a promotional team where we see the same player making costly mistakes? People pay good money to watch a millionaire putting in disgrace non-league football in our team. They have the right to rant.
  11. Well the team actually put in a shift in when the booing started. Also, it should at least make McLeish realise it's best to drop him for the rest of the season. That's a good thing.
  12. He's costing us goals. What the **** should the fans do? Cheer that he's putting in a disgraceful performance week in week out while he's earning millions from this club? Don't forget also he nearly scored an own goal against Everton. Unacceptable.
  13. Any manager would drop him by now. He's a **** disaster.
  14. It's kind of funny that the team responded of playing attacking football was when the crowd got really angry. Still, McLeish got his draw so job done for him.
  15. You would think we've done Arsenal and were up 3-2 considering the reactions of this thread in the second half. We're still 1-2 and QPR came close of scoring again. Oh, and why can't we play this ever when we're drawing or winning under McLeish?
  16. At least we don't have MON anymore. I'm sure the Sunderland fans are feeling gutted to being 2-0 up and 8th already if the scoreline stands.
  17. Or on the flip side, the unpleasent noise coming from the Villa crowd has got the team to put a **** shift on. Normally, the Villa fans are silent and indifferent.
  18. Right back into the game? We're still losing buddy. Means **** nothing when we've also got shit bags like Warnock on the pitch.
  19. Yes it is. He put in Warnock in the team again. You slag off Given but give Hutton and Warnock free points. What the **** is your game here?
