My best friend when I was a child died at 13 with a brain tumour. Collapsed under a bridge and that was it. I also know of a young fella who lived close by that died with a brain tumour. He knew he was dying however and it wasn't instant. Poor lad went blind and died slowly. His dad has since broken up with his wife and has turned to drink. I feel sorry for him because of what he has been through, but he's out fighting with everyone and anyone, especially young fellas that are around the same age as his son. I've heard about him drinking and beating up 17-18 year olds hanging about. He did it to one lad one night, who ended up battering him with a spade. :S Another guy I went to school with died last year in England in a hit-and-run. Shocking stuff.

BBC3 does have some good documentaries at times - the food documentaries are an example. They also had a decent one about some guy who was disabled from the neck down and how it affected his daily life. It was a real eye opener, but yes their "comedies" are **** woeful. All it needs is to add a new series of 3 Pints Of Lagar and it really has hit as low as it is possible. ITV2 just repeats movies, Loose Women and other babbling arse talk.

Keep it up Kent. It is common for people to relapse due to a number of things happening in your life. I wouldn't be feeling down about it. You aren't the first person to give in. The important thing is to cut down slowly. That's what I have done and I feel a lot better. Going 6 weeks is a tremendous achievement and should be viewed in that way.

A little bit of knowledge... Personally I find little shits like Jack Russells and Shih Tzus to be a much nastier piece of work. The staff's look doesn't help him, but that's all it is. They really are the softest of softies. People blame the animal for its behaviour. Frankly it is usually always down to the owner. Jack Russells and Shih Tzus are usually always spoilt rotten by their owners. They act as if they are children. Those little things are nasty little ankle biters. They are always barking or yapping. My friend has a staff. It turned into the biggest softy you would ever see. It was built and pure muscle but it wouldn't snap or bite at you ever. All he ever did was run into you like some mad man looking someone to play with it or lick you. 8)

Interestingly enough I've been smoking close to 3 years. However, over the last 2-3 months or so I've been cutting down. I didn't plan on quitting but I just haven't had the urge to smoke. I honestly think I am going off them. People say it is best to cut down slowly, rather than immediately go off them. The last time I had a smoke was on Saturday night. I will smoke when I drink, but during the week no I don't really smoke now at all.
