  1. So naive by Garde, hopefully he won't be again. I expected a hammering when I saw the line-up. He now has no doubts of the size of task he has taken on here. He should have learned a lot today. I expect to never see a similar tactical choice again.
  2. Decent first half which unfortunately is a massive improvement. It's early days yet, hopefully we step it up a bit and manage to get something out of the game. At this stage I'd be massively surprised if we do but hopefully the scoreline is a reflection of us improving rather than citeh just coaxing themselves through a champions league hangover. A clean sheet would be a wonderous thing
  3. Because Okore's fitness is debatable, and Lescott is terrible. I know, it just feels, wrong. Our centre back options are really poor at the minute. If Okore was fit I'd consider playing him and Clark and move Richards to full back with Amavi on the other side. If that back four were coached properly I think they'd be a lot stronger than we've seen this season.
  4. He was born In England, he can still play for England just like Jack
  5. No he did not. He made 12 appearances on loan at Bordeaux. Hardly a successful loan. He did however look very good for the Portuguese 21s
  6. Have witnessed him make smiliar mistakes before. Has a habit of getting to tight and getting rolled easily. It's textbook poor defending. However he played really well for a number of games last season when our banks were to the wall and played infrequently before. So I know it he has the ability. In a well drilled and organised defence I think he would look a different player than he did against Spurs. Hopefully that will be the case either way I think he's close to his last chance here.
  7. I'm confident Garde will be a huge improvement on Tim. Largely because it would be near impossible not to be. Surprised that he's happy to take us on in our current predicament but that points to to him being confidence he can turn it around. I hope for all our sakes he is right
  8. Well I think he'll be giving Clark and Gardner a start in the cup.
  9. I hope we have someone lined up. The Remi Garde stories would indicate that this may be the case.
  10. Would be shocked -- and delighted. Bob would a risk, a big risk at this stage.
  11. I really really hope we have Rodgers lined up but thinks it's probably 2 weeks too late for that one.
  12. WTF? Maybe Huttons playing DM. This is just another roll of the dice from a manager who doesn't even trust himself. Makes no sense, I'd say it's the end of Tim. Hope we have Rodgers lined up.
  13. Livescores stab at predicting out lineup
  14. The fact is there are better managers available right now. Rodgers would be the perfect fit for us so an approach should be made. Sam would improve us and as such can approach should be made. Even if Tim improves in the job it is highly unlikely that he will be near as a good an option of either Rodgers or Big Sam
  15. It's not fair on anyone keeping him here. Pay him off, thank him for keeping us up. Advise him to learn his trade in the lower divisions.
  16. Rodgers would be a huge improvement on our last four managers. I hope we at least approach him.
  17. Poor game today. Seems bereft of ideas where it comes to the final ball
