  1. Is it? He even said in the tweet we have 3 bids and 2 loans in negotiation.. That is 5 new players in. He is not including the 4 new players we already have in his calculation that much is obvious.
  2. Lots of goals scored today.. Norwich have gotten off to a very very strong start.

    Adama Traore

Traore's quads are bigger than Elphick.. He's a beast.
  4. They were also a Premier League team like 2 seasons ago and were in the Europa League 4 seasons ago. Yes their little fall from grace has been rather sudden, but their stadium is lovely.
  5. First time I have shown concern in a long time.. Maybe it is misplaced but like I said usually I don't give a shit, but watching this it has given a little food for thought of what we may be in for.
  6. Yeah it's hard to enjoy Newcastle losing because in the back of my mind I am slightly concerned as Sheffield Wednesday are better than this Fulham side.
  7. Ooooof! Close.. Great cross there, header should have been better.
  8. Hmm I was expecting Newcastle to roll this league, well done Fulham. Great header..
  9. I was expecting Fulham to be worse to be fair.. I think in my head I have underestimated much of this leagues teams.
  10. Commentator just said "If you look at the quality Newcastle have and they just signed Ciaran Clark.." that signing makes them worse commentator a lot worse.. Gotta say watching so far Newcastle don't look like they were in the Premier League last season, they are being tested quite a bit by Fulham.. Concerned for Sunday now as Sheffield Wednesday are better than Fulham.
  11. Players for too long have under performed at our club, we may just need a potential 80 goals worth of strikers just to score 40 goals this season. I hope that isn't the case, but I wouldn't fault any manager for being overkill considering.
  12. Makes sense in light of that exploit. I am sure they are getting hate for this as gamers see no pre-release review code as bad news, but I would rather accurate reviews than incorrect assessments based on pre-patched code.
  13. I think we are just trying our luck.. I prefer this to "oh that team has bid, okay then on to plan b" which was Aston Villa for as long as I can remember. Yeah it was maybe a bit too late to bid when the guy is having his medical, but at least it shows aren't going to give up on players just because someone bid on them first.
  14. I think it is a dig at one of the two players that have just left. One of them seems to have pledged allegiance to Villa and still wound up leaving.. Xia appears to take that very very personally.
  15. I wonder if Xia is as passive aggressive in person as he is on Twitter. Either Gana or Clark have really pissed him off but he just won't out and out say it lol.
  16. I suppose McCormack and Ayew could be interchangeable. Ayew just needs players around him that can create things so if McCormack can fill that role and score loads then I don't mind.
  17. Same.. Based on pre-season I would have thought the nailed on spot behind the striker is Ayew as he's been there for several games now. Currently we would be looking upfront like this with McCormack surely.. Traore* - Ayew - Grealish -------- McCormack ------- Traore can be swapped with Sinclair or Bacuna.. Ideally a new signing, but that should be how we line up based on pre-season.
  18. Pretty good second or third choice options. I mean whoever our first choices were must have been insanely ambitious if a proven goal scorer is what we had to make do with.
  19. I don't think you need to be all that fit to replace Gestede. Any additional movement from McCormack will be a revelation for this football club after last season..
  20. You worry a lot don't you? How about just be glad that we likely won't be lining up with Gestede leading our front line..
  21. Letlive. kinda let themselves down with this album (If I'm The Devil...) it's still good but not a patch on the quality of their previous material.
  22. He did it with an exploit that will likely have been fixed on day one. He exploited an item that is easy to find which had an absurdly high sale price so he could upgrade his warp drive faster than regular players would be able to. The game is still massive and the average player playing the game to explore will reach the center after several hundred hours. So just because one guy with the offline version of the game got to the center using an exploit doesn't mean much.
  23. Yes and no. There are usually some like maybe some ISIS plot uncovered to derail an event, but even removing acts of terror from the menu there have already been half a dozen maybe more things that have already gone wrong. This event is a bit different as it all appears to be a bit of a shit show.
  24. It's sad that it feels like it's inevitable that something horribly wrong will happen. I mean with the world as it is currently it just seems like the worst possible time to have an Olympics like this. I mean the bomb scare yesterday at the stadium hosting the opening ceremony, I get that these things can happen any place any time but it just feels like Rio won't have adequate security. Yet even if something large scale doesn't happen the Olympics haven't even started yet and we already have tales of kidnap, theft, fires, security breaches and construction failures.. This is meant to be the calm before the storm and yet it feels like the storm has already started. I wish everyone attending from athletes to sports fans the best of health as it just seems inadvisable to attend this Olympics.
  25. A lot of the issues were raised in this article here by Huffington Post. Everything is going wrong.. The issue is that Brazil just can't really afford it. They are facing their greatest recession in 100 years and yet they were bound by agreements to keep on spending money to build all the facilities. While they hosted the World Cup no issue that was largely a much smaller event where they could have used pre-existing football stadiums for the most part. The Olympics though many of the buildings these sports have to take place in need to be specially constructed, as unless Brazil had a Velodrome lying around or an Olympic sized swimming facility ready made these have to be constructed as part of the Olympic Village. From what I have been reading and Huffington Post don't quite touch on it is that Brazil/Rio just ran out of money or at least ran out of budget. Many of the stadiums and buildings are unfinished. The living quarters are unfinished. They barely did anything to help decontaminate the waters used for several events. This whole thing is a nightmare.. Teams have already refused to live in the Olympic Village because they feel unsafe and yet in the hotel they chose to stay in instead they still wind up getting robbed. Rio did a decent job with the World Cup but it's a larger smaller event that attracts less people.. Rio appears to be vastly ill-equipped to host the Olympics and their country is in turmoil currently, it's not a place anyone wants to be visiting right now.
