  1. Gana and Veretout have no excuses for being average today as this is their proven level. They know how french teams play and the pace of french football..
  2. Gollini just praised Gollini for the clearance..
  3. Richards likely still is. He went off in the game against GAK and hasn't been seen since. The other the two not a clue, hopefully getting sold.
  4. Quality seems to be pretty good. That said nothing really happening right now. It may change with players running around as fast moving objects are a nightmare if their bitrate is too low.
  5. While the tracker is broken it serves a valuable purpose. Maybe a bit lame once they fix the tracker, but currently it's the only way to play the game semi-properly.
  6. New Logos! I don't mind the Smackdown Live one as it looks similar to past Smackdown logos. It's sleek and stylish and while it would likely look better sans the LIVE bit I can deal with that. RAW though. Yes it harks back to days of old with shades of the '93-'97 RAW logo, but it just looks far too simple. Maybe it looks better animated, but not super impressed.
  7. Those that haven't seen it yet the FC Nantes game will be streamed without commentary live through the AVFC website at 6pm BST tomorrow.. FC Nantes Strim All they require if you haven't already is that you register an AVFC account and the match will be available to stream no AVTV subscription required.
  8. Even if we had the squad it wouldn't be an easy game. Sheffield Wednesday have a squad that likely should have gotten promoted last season, they are pretty much the finished article. Our opening game of the season likely couldn't have been much harder.
  9. Would you buy any of our shit? No so it's not as easy as "not much has changed" we have signed 3 new players and have likely a couple more incoming. Yes in an ideal world the owner would just buy out everyone we don't want, but it's not an ideal world. As long as we strengthen the playing squad and the subs bench then we may have to live with having some of the shit around not playing. I think RDM underestimated just how little other teams give a shit about many of our players.
  10. Lescott came on for Baker at half-time and apparently we instantly had our goal taken off us for that.. Well done AVFCOfficial on Twitter.
  11. This shit could have happened to any foreign owner. Xia thought he was doing something nice and some word removed set him up. I think it is a breath of fresh air that our owner is one of us chatting all sorts of bollocks on social media. Yes he may put his foot in it from time to time, but **** it I personally don't care as we have one hell of a down to earth owner and it's great.
  12. Petrov is likely being rested as he is miles away from match fit and is probably being worked super hard in training to get there. He has featured in every friendly thus far so him sitting this one out isn't a huge concern. The rest though are likely on the way out..
  13. Any bets we'll concede on the 7th minute again? We did it twice in two games on the weekend.
  14. From a stand point of now yes.. That said how many will break through to become the stars they should be? Just like the brand split back in the day benefited guys like Eddie Guerrero we may find that being on Smackdown will be greatly more beneficial for growth. I agree that in terms of star power right now Raw has it, but that's also why I added my disclaimer at the end that Smackdown Live is loaded with potential, it will be exciting to see who rises to the top on that brand as it could be literally anyone.
  15. Hmm so this draft was a bit odd really. Shane has talked the talk about being all about the new-era and while to be fair he did choose the most NXT stars he also lead the charge with the likes of John Cena and Randy Orton. I personally think Smackdown Live has the better overall roster* and we will see some names flourish that would have never had a chance before, but it just seems a bit disjointed to me. I also believe that Smackdown Live got shafted a bit as I think WWE put too much emphasis on Raw being a 3-hour show. I mean if things don't change Raw will have the Women's Title, US Title, Tag Titles and I assume the soon to be unveiled Cruiserweight Title. If WWE then go ahead with Raw also having a WWE Title of its own then Raw will have four (maybe five) titles while Smackdown has two. Yes Raw is longer but Raw getting the Cruiserweight division basically grants them another 5-10 wrestlers outside of this draft depending how big WWE want that division to be. I am also concerned about the variety of the Women's division. Yes I get that they don't get the same amount of time as the men do, but Raw has seven women and Smackdown Live six. I understand that the Women's Title is a floating one so it can be won by someone on Smackdown at one of the big four PPV's, but my main concern is the division feeling tired full of the same old matches yet again in few months. I mean there are only so many combinations of fresh match ups you can create with a Women's division of seven female superstars on one show. Hard issue to fix without giving one brand all of the women, but it may get a bit stale rather fast. Top picks for each brand: Raw: - Seth Rollins - Finn Balor - The New Day - Enzo and Cass - Sasha Banks - Kevin Owens - Sami Zayn - Cesaro Notable mention: Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows (Balor Club anyone?) Smackdown Live: - Dean Ambrose - AJ Styles - John Cena - Randy Orton - Becky Lynch - American Alpha - Bray Wyatt - The Vaudevillains Notable mention: Zack Ryder (should be harder to bury now :P) I am sure it will work out alright for both brands. I suppose now it's just waiting and seeing how Raw differentiates in look and feel to Smackdown Live. I do fear for some of the guys on the Raw roster as that roster is still pretty huge, it's still possible for some to get lost in the shuffle. On the other hand I hope Smackdown Live can use its more condensed roster creatively enough to mask how small it really is. Should be interesting going forward that is for sure. *PS. When I say better overall roster for Smackdown Live I mean in terms of potential. Raw have some superstars that will flourish for sure and they will go on to become huge stars over the coming decade, but some will get lost in the shuffle. Smackdown Live has a roster full of workhorses and wrestlers that are incredible in the ring but don't get the same hype or attention as say a Kevin Owens. Yes Smackdown may not produce as many top names when the draft inevitably ends in 5 or so years, but we may wind up more surprised about who rises to the top in that brand as its full of underdogs for the most part.
  16. I'm playing on an iPhone 6S Plus and have had no issues. I don't even find the battery life an issue, I can get like 11-12 hours of Pokemon GO on a single charge based on my calculations. That said there are so many iPhones of varying power, battery life and spec so I guess just because one iOS device is fine doesn't mean they all will be.
  17. If it's anything like the GAK game they will just put the highlights/goals on Facebook. It took like 2-3 days for them to get them uploaded from the match at GAK so I would assume Tuesday/Wednesday if they are going to bother.
  18. If it happened I would be salivating at the thought of our first season back in the Premier League if we paid that much in the Championship.
  19. We rebuilt last season and arguably did too much too soon. Yes there were lots of things wrong with last season from poor managers, to poor pre-season and a culmination of that was a poor season. Our issue though was we basically signed an entirely new first-team last season and it was too much in such a short span of time. In an ideal world I would love Xia to come in and spend £50 million just buying out the contracts of every player we don't want, but that would then put us in risk of having a completely new squad that needs time to gel just not gelling in time. So as much as we need to rebuild it may be wise to buy the new sofa, the new coffee table and the new TV now and merely move them all into the newly built house when it's ready, than scrap everything at once and hope it all works out. We need to take this slow and that is likely why the time frame of one year has shifted to two years. We will try our hardest to get up in one but it will require a lot of players on low confidence coming good again, so it's a hit or miss approach.
  20. That is the point. This is an app that is meant to get people active and exploring places they have never been before. If I could catch everything in my area I would just lie in bed and pop Incense all day and wait it out, but the fact it's not that easy finds me walking 30-40k steps some days just hunting. This app is brand new so shit tier Pokemon are all you are realistically meant to have currently. @Demitri_C have a bit of patience. I don't know if you broke terms of service to get the game a week or so ago, but the game is super new. It has only been out globally for 2-3 days so yes there are things to fix and things to balance but those will be in the coming weeks fixes take time.
  21. Maybe simplifying it a bit? Goals never change yes, but quality defenders do. Gestede struggles in the Premier League because the quality of player and defending is vastly better than in the Championship. He was a threat in the Championship, he wasn't in the Premier League and that is largely because he's not cut out for facing players that are actually semi-decent at defending.
  22. I am sure most people in China use a proxy to by-pass the great firewall of China. I would assume there that using Google is the same as someone in the UK using a proxy to access to a piracy site, both are wholly illegal but no one is getting carted off by the feds for it.
  23. It would certainly tie in with Xia's tweet about "quality over quantity".. Seems Xia doesn't care what the cost is provided they are good which is certainly different to what we are used to as a club.
