  1. I've never heard of fans who think their team has benefitted from officiating.
  2. Well, obviously my post was TL,DR for you Tuco Yes, I only agreed with the beginning
  3. I don't think so either CF. Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes not, long term it'll even out. I actually think that refs and their human mistakes are part of the thrill and excitement of a game. Few things are more fulfilling than yelling at the ref when he makes a bad call.
  4. "I don't think it'll be months"!!!! Better not be.
  5. I think Clark played a quite good game today. The gulf in performance between him and Baker gets wider by the day.
  6. Yep. Looked like a fanboi unfortunately.
  7. I can't read his mind. It just doesn't make any sense to me. If he's not interested because the rest of the team is not good enough or he doesn't like the tactics, then he's alredy given up. I hope and believe that's not the case.
  8. Call me crazy too mate, but it's not his fault he gets to take them all. Someone else makes that decision.
  9. Andi and Tekkers go hand in hand. If Tekkers improves, so will Andi. Of course, Andi won't, and shouldn't, have the long leash that Benteke has. So he will be dropped now presumably. Kozak - Gabby up front for me next game. Tonev is no answer to anything.
  10. I agree, he probably came back way too early, and is now paying the price. What I refuse to agree with is when some say he is disinterested. He may be frustrated, and for sure is, but not disinterested. He came back too early because he wanted too much to be the player he was last year. And he wanted to show that WC striker position is his.
  11. First I thought that this has been just because of injuries, but you're right, Lambert has mixed it up more than has been necessary. Not sure of the effect, but your observation is correct.
  12. I wasn't worried when Okore went down, because Clark had already shown significant improvement. Vlaar is another thing though. He is what keeps it all together. Our most important player this season.
  13. Not really much to say. Clark and Delph were least poor, I chose Clark for MotM. Benteke is not getting anything done. Not even close to scoring. Expecting to get help from the ref every time he loses a battle. Which seems like all the time. Get it together Tekkers! You can do it, just work work work. Don't give up so easily.
  14. But offensively, we are superior. I think we should go for the old adage, you score 3, we will score 4 etc. Yes, sure. I just don't feel so confident with those two out. Lowton, Baker and Bacuna on the wrong side (if that's how we play), is a little worrying. I'm also concerned that this is a game we 'should' win. Meaning we'll have problems scoring.
  15. I think 2-2 is on the cards. Without Vlaar and Luna we'll be in some trouble defensively.
  16. Just a remark: It must be a bit deflating to the youngsters you mention, when they see Lambo bring in half a squad of projects from the outside.
  17. U know what the best thing Clark did last night. Osvaldo was being a right ass when weinman done the tackle on shaw 93rd min. He was then running backwards up the pitch and Clark clattered into the back of him. Put a bit of manners in him. Shows it has matured and will be a leader. Take no shit, way it should be I can't find this incident. Can anyone help?
  18. Loan would be fine, but I wouldn't use any of our limited ammo into buying another decent CB.

    Joe Bennett

What's with this guy, how come he's still injured?
  20. Off Topic advise -type interests? Ok, when you're ready mate, your audience is here.
  21. See Butterfingers - there are more than two types of people. There are actually 10 types: Those who understand binary and those who don't. Sorry, don't get this. You'd be in the latter group, then 10 is the representation for the number 2 in binary. It's an old geek joke..... .. and I couldn't resist. Sorry. All's ok oz, sorry to everyone for letting this slide off topic.
