So if Konsa joins, do we think that will be it defensively in terms of signings, including the keeper position? Surely money needs to be spent on attack and midfield now (inc a DM).

I just think that will be an awful lot of money for a position where we have cover. Cahill isn’t right for the direction we are looking to go in. We need a DM, pretty urgently I’d say. Perhaps someone that can cover another position as well - such as CB.

Pretty sure I’m the only one on this forum who thinks that we are wasting money signing another keeper. I’d have gone with Steer with Nyland as backup. What’s happened with Kalinic btw?

Maybe some people are missing the point again... with all this Philips, Butland, Webster talk with fees of upwards of 25million... maybe, we aren’t going to be spending that sort of money on players... that’s why the stories have been dragging on for so long now. Perhaps we made enquires, were given a price, said no, and have already moved on... i guess only a couple of people on here can indicate whether that is the case or not. But surely we can’t be expected to spend the best part of say, 70m, on three players. Makes no sense.

I’m still plugging away at this game, in fact, it’s the only game I do play when the wife lefts me have some Xbox time. Hah. Getting better with building, but the skill gap is still absolutely huge. Frequently encounter players who are just all over me in seconds and i have no idea what’s hit me before it’s game over. Guess it’s a disadvantage of playing with controller, but, don’t know the best keybinds to set for the most effective gameplay.
