  1. Especially when you look at the money spent on centre halves such as Collins, Knight, Cuellar and Dunne that were no better than him.
  2. Great post. Lambert isn't without his faults but he'll turn things around if he is given the resources and time to do so. And for those wanting ex Villa managers like Little and Gregory, take a look at their recent managerial achievements and explain how they are better qualified than PL to sort out the mess created by O'Neill, Lerner and Faulkner.
  3. Lose to Reading and i think Villa Park will become very hostile towards him. Doubt it. There'll be a few boos but the blind support will continue and we'll be hearing his name chanted as usual at the next game. Given that the next match after Reading is QPR i hope that regardless of the Reading result the crowd get behind the team and Lambert.
  4. Based on recent performances, Westwood and Delph are beginning to form a decent partnership. He's definitely improving with each game.
  5. My money is on Lambert resigning at the end of the season regardless of which division we are in. I suspect he was promised money for the January window which was later withdrawn.
  6. Looking forward to an afternoon in the land that time forgot surrounded by knuckle dragging half wits. The only place on earth where the average IQ is on a par with Small Heath.
  7. Poor player, mirror image of the manager who signed him. Hard working and honest but nowhere near good enough.
  8. We'll end up with 38 points and finish above 3 other teams. Victories against Reading, Sunderland, Fulham and Wigan with draws against QPR and Stoke.
  9. Mine arrived at least 10 days ago.
  10. Out of interest, what has he done for you to label him as cocky?
  11. Pictured on the OS visiting a school for deaf kids, what a cock.....

Excellent post. Fingers crossed all our strikers remain fit for the remainder of the season as i'm optimistic we'll stay up on the basis we have the capability to score more goals than our rivals.
  13. Of course everything that's written in the press is 100% correct.........
  14. Appetite for Destruction - G'n'R Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - Black Sabbath Leftism - Leftfield Highway to Hell - AC/DC Libertad - Velvet Revolver The Very Best of The Stone Roses
  15. 3 points next sunday will set us up nicely. A point tomorrow would be a bonus but i feel our luck has to change soon.
  16. Summed up perfectly. A very poor man manager who had been away from the Premier League for too long.
  17. Re read my post..... 20 plus 4 wins and 3 draws before the Wigan game = 35 points 3 points against Wigan - 38 points.
  18. Victories against Reading, West Ham, Sunderland and Fulham Draws against Stoke, QPR and Norwich. Will go to the last game of the season at Wigan and we'll win to stay up. 38 points - Job done !

I still think we'll survive with a last day victory at Wigan. Saints, Reading and Wigan to drop for me.
  20. It is what it is, time to focus our energy on supporting the squad, starting on saturday at Goodison. Despite the lack of signings, I still believe we'll stay up. Onwards and (hopefully) upwards.....
  21. As someone posted earlier maybe the news on Dunne is better than anticipated?
  22. I know you're angry but it's becoming tiresome now
