Big day again for us. If 2 of Sunderland, Norwich and Newcastle fail to win today it would be hard to see them both winning on the final day. Huge day.

I wouldn't really class Delph as a DM. Plays more box to box for me. If anything it's Westwood who plays the more disciplined role.

Agree in regards to Kone. Would give us something we don't currently have. Wouldn't mind McMannaman or Maloney either.

Good player but just doesn't fit the Lambert way. Time for both parties to shake hands and move on.

Looks a really good young player with a big future. I know it was an horrific tackle against Haldara but i'd forgive him that if Lambo decides he is right for us. Would really like him at the club but I'm sure he would cost a lot. Relegation would mean they'd try harder to squeeze every penny out of the deal. Probably cheaper foreign alternatives out there.

Hopefully a new contract is signed within the next few weeks. Need to keep hold of him for as long as possible.

Nope. Life will go on and he is on the mend. He has the rest of his life to look forward to. Seems ott to retire the shirt. As a club we've supported him and will continue to do so but retiring a shirt number, no sorry not for me. -

I really didn't want us to go into the last day without being safe. Everyone is so bunched together that we will be at risk alongside so many other teams. Wigan away who are fighting for their lives will not be easy. A point will see us safe. Tense times!

I've only seen KEA play well twice this season, yesterday and when we lost to Everton. Both times when we were chasing the game. Not sure if he should start the next game.

I am absolutely shitting myself. This is going to be an intense run in now. Who ever stays up will deserve it. We have 3 winnable games, if we can't get 6 points from a potential 12 when we need it then we don't deserve to stay up. I expect 4 points from the next 2 games but I hope we get 6 and its put to bed before we play Chelsea. All eyes on Wigan vs Spurs!

I remember Westwood's debut when he came on against Southampton away and looked lost. KEA may come good, he may not. Beggars can't be choosers and right now we don't have any choice!

Warnock has been removed from the squad page on OS! Hopefully he is gone soon and so is Hutton. Even if we don't sign someone its good to get players who aren't even in the squad off the wage bill.

McLeish was never going to get any backing from the fans. Houllier came in and kept putting his foot in his mouth. At first, although he was correct, he said we were a mid table team. He then snubbed our fans at Anfield and every press conference had a reference to Liverpool. Lambert has gotten it wrong but he has respected the club, the fans and actually looks like he cares. He just needs to get the team performing.

People said the same in the summer and look at what we did on deadline day. We are getting players in. I'm sure of it. If we weren't getting players in why haven't we loaned anyone yet?

No to NRC. He looked poor when we played Ipswich and it says something when Ipswich aren't bothered that he has gone. He led Bolton to relegation last year. I don't want him back.

Yet Remy signed for QPR. Offer the right wages and put in a clause so if the team is relegated they can leave for a cheap fee and I'm sure we could get players in.

I want us to stay up badly but like previously stated, I do not want us to panic buy and end up with another Makoun, Ireland or someone. I would rather we were patient and Lambert got the players he actually wants. Mistakes in the market have caused this (a long with other things), and we don't want to repeat them. Lambert knows who he wants, its just a case of if or when we get them in. Otherwise I see us going with what we've got, rather than signing someone for the sake of it. Fingers crossed we get the players in we need to stay up and build for the future!
