  1. Not taken as one M8, Im always up for a healthy discussion. Yeah I get your point maybe I'm a bit blinkered as my wifes family are all blue so thats my only reference. I Have been to a few everton games before with the Fil, Sat in the end behind the goal (Gladys?) Seemed ok chatted to a few guys, obvious by my accent I'm not a scouser no isues at all. Saturday was a whole new kettle of fish, I suppose bad football/tactics and a impending fear of relegation is enougth to make any fan base turn toxic. As Id mentioned earlier the atmosphere was so like VP in our relegation season, not a nice place to be. So glad we have brilliant owners , a manager who has got the team playing and a squad lthat ooks like they are all pulling in the same direction, never want to go back to those Tony Xia days again.
  2. Watching this before I fly back to Saudi the next day. Need a result I work with 2 of the most smugest Leeds fans going. Im going for 2-0 Villa,
  3. Unfortunetly i work overseas so have to Pick & Mix games i can attend. I live In Formby (Where Stevie G, Kloop and a few other footballers live) so kinda thought sod it give it a go...wasnt a nice experiance and my Mrs Family are all Everton, Really didnt think there fans were that bad, deffo changed my mind today.
  4. As i put in the aftermatch remarks, i was sat in with the Everton fans. Emi's time wasting and general shit-housings was causing them to properly lose their s**t, took all the control in the world to not start laughing at one guy whos actually having a melt down everytime Emi 'added' a few seconds to each goal kick.. Comedy gold tried to stealth film him on my phone, but by halfway througth the second half the atmosphere was getting a bit spicy around me. Final whistle head down hands in pockets and sharp exit out of there!
  5. I was sat in the middle tier, main stand opposite our fans. The noise all througth the game was amazing, The Everton fans around me were a proper pissey moaney lot, only happy when some clown started lobbing bottles and stuff at the Villa Players. Sitting there reminded me of our relegation season. Fans argueing with fans, not getting behind their players. Anyway not a great performance but sometimes youve got to grind a win out. Tried to play football the first half, then strangley felt id been teleported back to the late 80's and watching the Wimbeldon crazy gang in the 2nd half. Awful tactics from Everton lump and rush, which didnt help the Football experts sat around me. Got out with my life intact but deffo never doing that again....till the next time i cant get an away ticket!
  6. Excited, got a ticket in the main stand with the locals! Where are the Villa drinking before the match?
  7. Sky Saying emergency board meeting @Everton tonight....might be Bye Bye Rafa in the morning?
  8. Omg i think the SKy commentator is going to burst into tears, how dare we equalise against the mighty manure!
  9. Wow some statement there by SG, Bringing in the likes of Coutinho shows some intent, lets get a few more in!
  10. We look good, Wish we could just get a bit of luck around the box, Think we would of had 3 by now.
  11. Its great how happy Dean Smith is for the young lads, was grinning and clapping after the 6th went in...These young lads are looking a good prospect I know its only L2 Barrow but hey you can only play and beat what's in front of you. Going to be a good few years for us if these lads keep on developing and getting game time.
  12. Is that a ball boy were bringing on for Freddie?
  13. I Remember old Holte end late used to do it as well. Always used to give Seaman grief for being an ex bluenose, Neville Southall for being a tad large around the midriff...and Groblar(SP) just because groblar!
  14. Living and working in the North west I went to a few of the 'Horror Shows' 3-0 loss to Wigan, Bolton 1-0 in the probably coldest day I've ever watched football. Started thinking it was my Fault, and Id never see the Villa win away again ever!.. Ah then Rotherham Super Jack restored my faith.
  15. Watching BT kind of reminds me of Watching Tony Daley back in his prime, obviously BT hasn't got that blistering pace TD had, but the uncertainty of what's going to happen when he has the ball at his feet gets you to sit/stand up and get excited to see what he,s going to do, beat three players score a worldie, fall over, 50 yard back pass after beating 3 men who knows!
  16. Cant watch this anymore I've tried, but I'm in Saudi Arabia and cant even get a drink to dull the pain!! Thanks Mings..
  17. I Live up in Liverpool, I'm defo going for my lockdown exercise in As much Claret & Blue I can wear... So proud of these lads.
